To be released at the end of August. Would assume that only 6 weeks before worlds it would be top 6 are in, but you never know if they may add discretionary picks. Let's hope not.
I don't know where you come from Pogue, but here in Australia this is very off behaviour. I couldn't imagine the reaction at my local footy club if the coach started dating one of the junior netball players. Yet, Athletics Australia is all for these types of mentors.

NB should be stood down while a full investigation is untaken into i) conflict of interests and ii) personal including financial exploitation of athletes. SafeSport need to intervene if AA are incompetent. If found guilty of either of these crimes the appropriate sanctions need to be enforced.

Agree, if there are strong enough grounds and some kind of corroborating evidence rather than bullshıt scuttlebutt, except for the "stood down while a full investigation is un(der)taken", y'know, innocent until proven guilty.
As an Aussie fan with no skin in the game I find the whole thing really disheartening. It seems if Abbey had said yes to the puma deal, getting her 'onside' with AA and giving a cut to Nic then she would probably have been selected. And that's BS.
Is the Australian aths community protecting/ignoring/tolerating corrupt and abusive behaviour because of the persons influence? IF there is substance to the exploitation then who will stand up and whistle-blow?
