I agree this was a steeple opener for both of them and everyone else just took it out way too hard for where they are rn
This meet is making me so much happier than the USATF distance classic or literally any other meet this year!! I'm seeing some racing, lots of world bests, even some people getting close to WRs. Great meet so far. Now we need to see Sahlman!
I wonder how much hair can slow people down. I mean aerodynamically and also in terms of weight.
Oof. 22.42 ftw. Not going to scare ETH or SMU with that
It looked to me like Coburn started the race keying off of Frerichs. By the time she realized that Frerichs was off the pace, the pack was long gone and Coburn isn't fast enough to make up that kind of gap.
Wow, Prandini with a fast first 100, then rigor mortis set in. SAFP takes it.

Honestly I doubt SAFP will beat ETH at either the 100 or 200 anymore, Elaine is pretty clearly the best sprinter in the world right now
Bowerman mile time!!
Don't hold your breath. May not see or hear much about Colin at all. Hoping Kara or Swangaard hype him up.
So close to her PB! What a great race. And Cory with a PB. Great racing for these two US women.
Just started pouring rain. Still expecting a fast M mile here.

i thought Coburn looked way better then courtney but courtney almost caught her at the end.
Who let Katie Rainsberger in this field with a 9:30 pb???
I said on another thread coburn is 4 years past her prime . No shame in getting old . 9:15-9:25 is her new normal.
The cameraman took an L showing Filip as Jakob Ingebrigsten.
Who has odds on Sahlman breaks Webbs record today and NBC finding a way to miss showing or mentioning it?
this is gonna be fast
