She would be running 5 minutes faster if 10 years younger. She wasn't training and racing at the same level then as she is today. Too many angry and jealous old men here. Somebody so squeaky clean living a perfect life just riles up the haters. No skeletons in her closet and living a Christian life seems to burn some people.
Yeah, sure, 10 years ago - back when she was running a personal best 8:52 for 3000m, when she couldn't break 15:20 for 5k and couldn't break 32 for 10k - you're saying she would have run a 2:15 marathon?
Ah, but, that's when she hadn't discovered she was a natural for the longer distances, right? (because you would totally expect a potential 2:15 marathoner to be toiling away running a 15:20 5k). So here are her yearly best performances at 10 miles:
Performance Place Date
2019 53:11 Minneapolis, MN (USA) 06 OCT 2019
2018 52:47 St. Paul (USA) 07 OCT 2018
2017 53:43 St. Paul (USA) 01 OCT 2017
2016 53:33 Minneapolis, MN (USA) 09 OCT 2016
2014 52:54 Washington, DC (USA) 06 APR 2014
So she made, basically, no progress at a longer competitive distance, but we're to believe that she was this amazing marathoner trapped in a 1500-5000m runner, who could run marathons at a faster pace than she could run 10-mile races?
