No, the thread is 20 months old. It started in December 2020. The decision to attend HU only happened in the last few days. This thread is 100% about the past HU coaching situation and 0% about any particular athlete, past, present or future.
Once again, the main question that remains is why the heck is the wife coaching the team? I cannot fathom a single reason why this is allowed. First of all, shame on the school for allowing this, and shame on the parents for continuing to send their kids to this program.
Look, I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but something else is going on here that we don’t know about. What dirt does Johnson have on the school? Seriously, there is not a single reason, not a single justification, not a single explanation why the wife of a coach who sexually assaulted athletes is coaching that same program. Truly mind blowing.
Honest question, is there somewhere we can report this to? Obviously the school doesn’t care. Obviously the NAIA and the Crossroads league don’t care. That being said, I care about the athletes at that school and something isn’t right.

I guess we're not allowed to mention a certain adult runner's name. I want to be clear no athlete is to be held accountable for the actions of two coaches. I think it's fair for the public to be concerned about the well being of HU XC runners given what was in the affidavit. Also, is Lauren still married to Nick? Her instagram doesn't show him in it past 2021 or a ring.
This is what I want to know too. It doesn’t look like they’re divorced based off of IN’s public case search. But they could still be separated.
In most states it takes 90 days to get a divorce if agreed. Rarely takes more than a year if things are disputed if there aren’t kids or significant financial assets. Do they have either? Plus, if they’re divorced, why keep the name of there aren’t kids? Anecdotally, the percentage of no kid divorces I see where wife keeps her married name is in single digit percentages.
