HEY kids, I've been away for a year. Injured, not running.
Nice to open up the thread and see a post by Amk -- Hey, a 2:06 half is none too shabby! given all factors. I think it shows plenty of grit and consistency.
Over here, I was training for the Santa Rosa Marathon a year ago, and a mis-step on a steep slope got me a very messed up glute. 'nuff said. Months and months of not running ensued.
Now, I'm 3 months into 30mpw. Thinking of a half, then a marathon. First, a question. I picked up a pair of vaporfly 3, the bottom back layer came off after 40 miles! HA. What to do? Gorilla glue? Or how about the New Balance Fuel Cell?
