For what it's worth, I did not personally celebrate the murder of Charlie Kirk and do not think it is cause for celebration. (In fact, I think it's both reprehensible AND an utter disaster for American political life in general). Why would I be fired? What's your purity test? Do I have to also like and agree with Charlie Kirk in order to have rights and be part of civil society?

The Portland / PNW strategy of "let them shoot up in public, steal whatever they want, and do whatever they want" hasn't worked at all.
