I've talked a lot of people in the last 4 years about politics, including a lot of black people where I work downtown and also in the neighborhood. I don't know where you're getting your information from, but I'm telling you that black people can't stand Trump. A lot of people can't stand him, but I've noticed that black people are hardcore about it. I really don't know where the hate comes from, but its there. Go ask the black people you know what they think of Trump. You're in for some heat.

Trump was always a 2-bit used car salesman but one who started with enough money to sell from a prime location and spend a lot on marketing. He always sold his $hitty cars the same way and claimed he had the best cars while complaining about the unfairness of the real car dealers who were better than him. Then one day the stars aligned for Trump - people became unhappy with most real car dealers and he rushed to the scene to tell them he shared their sentiment (I'm one of you) and promised them free Ferraris (build the wall / get rid of the debt / jobs for all). They gave Trump a chance and the free Ferraris never came. Even then the people still stood around wanting badly to believe him because they were still not happy with the real car dealers. But they just couldn't believe him anymore and moved on in 2024.
But are you implying that huge insulation is necessary for the delusion? Because if so, it obviously makes MORE sense that, say, a North Korean leader could become quite delusional.
