the Kremlin supported the campaign of DJT with fake news, disinformation, lies, etc. And continues to do that on social media.

Every Jan 6 er had full due process. They all had defense attorneys, they could challenge all the evidence, they could have full jury trials if desired. They had it all. And the burden of proof for guilt is very high in the US justice system.
When right wingers say “where was this Jan 6er due process” it is an open admission that they are idiots. And not just rando idiots. But a level of idiocy this country hasn’t seen in history.

I'd say that "lying" describes that specific thing better than idiocy.
And idiocy can, theoretically, be fixed with information. But we know that that doesn't work, highly suggesting that it's not - mainly, at least - idiocy.
No, it's mostly us-versus-themism taken to shocking level. A few social issues over EVERYTHING ELSE, including THE most fundamental principles of the country. That's the mouth-breathing group.
