His voters who are motivated primarily by fear and/or hate are already pretty much locked in; but the appearance of a winning Trump bandwagon might attract some others who were wavering about showing up at the voting booth.

1. Collect the most amount of gambling money from rubes.
2. Deflate the motivation of Democrats to get out the vote.
3. Provide a reason for Trump to call for chaos (again) if he loses by saying he was WAY AHEAD in polling and it was rigged and stollen.

That has no relevance to what the poster was talking about, you're conflating GDP growth and inflation. The post-pandemic GDP boom happened under Trump right before Biden took office and was maintained during the Biden presidency.
The inflation ALL occurred under Biden, inflation was even falling right before Biden took office and rose as soon as Biden took office. GDP growth and low unemployment meant nothing if the value of the dollar is weak.
