from a distance guys perspective... I think the best thing of the meet was strauman breaking 150 with authority. Some guys haven't run from out west, like lara from adams, but he is definatley the top dog right now. Hope he can breakthrough at nats too. It would be great for a psac runner to win a national championship.
for indoors we had one Psac runner national champ 60 meters dash slippery rock, and last year outdoors we had nate from ship in the javelin

solid 1500 josh. it's a tough double. perhaps a good, healthy cross season will help your strength so that you'll be able to handle such a double better next year.

How can you possibly draw that conclusion moron???? Blood spilt high 25 for the last 200m of a 10k.
I also happened to watch the steeple on sat. and not to take away from his performance, but I personally didn't think that Beegle's kick was that spectacular considering he is national qualifier.
What was impressive though was watching him clear the entire water pit every single time and then come back strong in the 5k.

looks like it was a great meet, solid performances all around in the distance events. I second the comment on Beegle with the steeple/5k double that is quite impressive. After watching him through high school I was glad he ended up at Ship. Now we just gotta get fulton and creek doing something again.

Cummings hurt his calf at Penn and it was worse then they thought. Now he is rehabing to be healthy at Nats.
Hopefully he can get healthy, it would be horrible to end your collegiate career with an injury and not being able to run at Nats.
Agreed, it may stink a bit, but seeing how he was all american in xc, indoor and outdoor, 2nd indoors and outdoors in the mile/1500 I wouldn't say it was a terrible way to end a career.
For the records, as far as distance goes, what's the record amount of all-america status awards earned? It's gotta be in double digits, right? I'm sure some old-school Edinboro guys were like 11-time All-America. Or Spence for that matter.
Not sure on numbers, but i believe spence is in double digits, but he isn't in the top ship runner. He was edged out by Randy Lowe in the early 90's.

Not sure who has top honors, but I doubt it's somebody from Boro given that they don't run much indoor track. For example, Carl Leonard was AA 7 times, I believe -- 3 in cross and 4 in outdoor.

We never went to indoor nationals.
We cared about success as a Cross Country team first and foremost.
Most of the guys that ran with me do not even remember their track PR's. It was an odd crew, they were racers, not runners.
Luke Graham could've earned well over 12 had he run indoor Nats. He had great range a legit 50 flat 400 and sub 30 10K and the guy could triple at track meets as if each event was his first. He even ran a indoor 60 meters indoors a couple times.
so pinto ran a 3:51 Friday .. comes back to run a 3:52 Saturday ... I guess he really wants to go to nats ... to bad he isn't going to ahahahahahahahaah
