i liked CBS' "summit" and Fox's "special forces." if more than one person gets to the end of the tests, they all get prizes.
compared to that "apprentice" trump did theater. he plays businessman. he fires everyone. he yells at them. to me if you have to fire everyone you can't hire right. you see some of the tasks and it's like, you call that running a business? this is child's play.
he also appeared in movies. a lot of his persona is slapping his name on stuff as "licensing."
you act like he should know The Market. his business is private and family held. he is not meaningfully subject to shareholder groaning or public markets. he buys, owns, and sells land he develops. he rents it to people for golf or shelter. that's feudalism, not capitalism. he came to the profession with family money and holdings.
this is not capitalism. most of his forays into actual "make a widget and sell it" capitalism -- schools, airlines, football teams, casinos, steaks, etc......fail. he has to borrow money from germans and russians because he's burned american banks so bad.
