What is the word on Arkansas?

It’s 6/30, the day most coach contracts are supposed to be ending. Will we see a bunch of announcements today and tomorrow or are all the big jobs (ND, UNC, UT assist) sucking up all the oxygen? Do they have to pop before we get announcements for the other jobs down the line?

If this is true, congratulations to Coach Heisler. He will do a great job for Vincennes. Good to see a good coach getting an opportunity to get back in to college coaching.

very good hire for csusm Olsen has spent time doing it the right way and has amassed a lot of great coaching qualities and program fundamentals.

The Powells were a good hire to Washington. No one else has hired, well Texas hired Edrick but come on:

2. How can I get my pro athletes to follow me over to Texas, without them my street cred in coaching drops.

3. Find Pro athletes a place to live.

4. Find Pro athletes locker space

5. Set up office

6. Move Family

7. Contact a lot of distance coaches, and some other coaches, heck contact 10 caoches and throw the money around, get turned down

8. Go to USA's with pro athletes and check in on Texas student athletes every once in a while at meet

9. Hire throws coach

10. Throw more offers around.

Why not go back to Kentucky and at least get your multis/vault coach Toby S. Dude is a good coach and if I’m correct from the state of Texas.

I'm sure Floreal isn't having a hard time hiring. I'm sure he has received tons of applications and emails regarding the assistant positions (sprints hurdles relays and operations) posted.

Has a distance coaching position been posted? If not he will announce that he's keeping Herbster or announce new person on Monday.

Time to dress up and say “ excuse me Mr. Devries May I call you Hakron?” I called you several times and I know you were not good enough at first, Hey now no one wants to work with me and you seem like you can do a tremendous job.” The table is all set just don’t screw it Up or I will fire you.

Come on, Edrick. If you actually paid attention to your assistants, you’d know that this is no rumor. People talk at the coaches convention every year you know...

Anyone who took an assistant job at Texas under Flo must be as desperate as he is...

So what exactly?

Clearly the man has a serious work ethic and expects everyone around him to have the same.

Whoever gets offered and excepts will probably match his mentality.

I have a couple of on the rise Sprint coaches that I hope he hires.

I think Hakons preference is probably to stay at Kentucky
