Sandra is legit.
Mimi fake name is shady.
Tracker turned off and lied about, then her team blamed the owner of the tracker company and lied. (new tracker now)
No-one saw her on the route for weeks.
Photos and video rare.
She asked people to run with her then when one showed up in a vehicle had him arrested. (though this likely a lie and there was no vehicle)
Lied this follower was from LRC, but no-one here has posted about going to follow her.
Her fans over on URC are relentless. She is like the queen and none of them will hear anything said about her lack of tracker and shady goings on.
They come on here and troll, but if we join their group they ban us and say we are fakes.
They keep going on how she's the best runner in the world ever, therefore we must all believe she is doing this legit and we are forbidden to doubt her.
She's done some good races, but many can't be verified, like the doubles she claims.
Very boastful and always telling us how beautiful and marvelous she is.
Basically an attention seeking stunt runner who believes she's so awesome she must be believed and evidence doesn't matter.

Sandra's route 300 miles longer so expecting Mimi to finish first, though her damaged knee (previous surgery) is shot and she's a lot older than Sandra.
Both women are on pace to absolutely shatter the prior transcon record of 63.5 days unofficial WR, and 68 days Guinness WR. Mimi Anderson is taking the shorter route. Sandy Vi (Villines) is taking the longer road(s).
Mimi Anderson is on pace to be #3 all time, male or female, and is coming off major knee surgery, therefore the disbelief she can do that. She is averaging 58 miles per day and sub 50 days to complete the event. Mimi is 55 and coming off major knee surgery therefore the disbelief she can do what she has posted so far. She has a long list of accomplishments in ultras but is seems you have to take her word that she did them.
Sandy Vi is averaging 54 miles per day and is on track to finish in 56 days. She is more of a novice but she caught the attention of people for her ability to run, run, run. Pete Kostelnick, the current transcon, is her run advisor.
In terms of data to prove the run, Sandy's is superior to Mimi's. SHe can thank Pete for creating what has been called the Gold Standard for multiday running events where it is difficult to find witnesses.

It is more of a slow jog that minimizes leg lift to reduce stress on the legs. Almost walking but faster (3.5-4 mph).

Rojo: Can you change the title of this thread to one more descriptive that note women are on pace to beat the prior record by more than a week! Something like: Sandy Vi and Mimi Anderson are running across American and are on pace to shatter the absolutely existing record!
Of course, neither might finish the event. But a race is on that will last over 7 weeks.

Yes, there is also a lot of controversy mainly due to Mimi's spotty data collection, and her team is very defensive about it. But note that Sandy is using Pete's Gold Standard and her data is relatively drama-free. Mimi's data has multiple dramas per day. They are two entirely different people.
Sandy will gladly chat with you. Mimi, you likely have get clearance from her overly protective husband. Since your with the evil LRC I would expect Mimi will refuse to speak with you.
