Another unexciting coach to help LB State never be good. As long as Andy S is in charge no good person wants to work for him.
Many good candidates applied for that job but the new AD is making some cutbacks making the job less attractive for an expensive place to live as well. DE is a good guy.
LB is part of 23 CSU campus system. Not sure what you mean by “good” but lack of “good” is not because of Sythe it’s because there’s too many similar schools in the area / state. CSU, UCs and countless small privates.
LB state is funded with in state scholarships limits. so they’ll win their big west titles at times and that’s pretty much it. they’re not funded to get internationals or the best Americans. tbh there’s a LOT of California athletes that have fast times but do not pass the eye test.

I've seen on a few hiring websites that the FSU jobs (3 vacancies) are posted, but the link back to FSU careers website has no track coach postings.
