Jesus, read a book man. I like how you throw the "legal in the United States" as if it being "not legal" meant it didn't exist. The answer is roughly 250 years. That's at least 2 centuries, thus century being pluralized.
The United States isn't on the hook for something the British Empire did you little fool.
Why is it always the stupid people who tell other people to read a book? If you've ever read anything it's obvious you didn't understand it.
The country known as America that was settled by Europeans from the beginning of the 17th century practised slavery from 1619 through to 1865. That practice wasn't altered by it declaring itself a nation in 1776-1789. Indeed, slavery only ended - at an enormous expense of blood - because one half of the nation opposed it. That notwithstanding, it was replaced by a hundred years of Jim Crow. But tradition doesn't easily die. There was a racial supremacist in the White House from 2016-20 and his supporters want him back there. He reflects their values. They are also clearly yours.
These threads show that debate is an impossibility once the subject of Trump is raised. His supporters have completely departed from reality and are driven only by the delusions, falsehoods and prejudices that comprise the unfortunate mistake that is their personality. There are only a few of them here but they compensate for their numbers with the sheer stridency of their views. They don't "live" in the US in the way we would think most Americans do - they inhabit an appalling landscape of their own invention, that exists only in their fevered imagination.
The simplest solution would be to give them an island away from everyone else, where they might bay at the moon to their hearts content, but there is no retreat available that could take 40 million basket cases and they insist that they have the right to rule the other 300 or so million Americans. Jonathan Swift would have recognized them, when he wrote in "Gulliver's Travels" how Gulliver encountered a land of tiny midgets who sought to somehow make him their prisoner. He could have been inspired by the thought of a sane person who happened to find themselves in a Trump rally. But we have a Trump rally here, attended by its intellectual equivalent of the Lilliputian midgets. They are as sane as a bunch of lemmings heading for the first available cliff, thinking they are on the road to their salvation. If it wasn't for the fact they want to take us with them, we should simply leave them to it.
There's must be something toxic inside of sheep orifices... there's no other explanation for how stupid you are.
Weisselberg is going to Rikers, for Christ's sakes. Have you ever been to Rikers? It's like the Angola of jails. They serve slop on a shingle, with a weak gruel for lunch.
The Trump compound is increasingly dysfunctional due to the rat problem. One simply cannot conduct the affairs of the enterprise when one has rats running around busting chops to the feds. It's heightened tension down there. Everyone suspects everyone, everyone eyeballing each other, making lists, wiping hard drives, consulting lawyers. Everyone huddled over their own bowl of rice, afraid to ask anyone to pass the salt for fear of repercussions.
So we see you have two obsessions: rodents and NZ. They don't appear to be connected - or have anything to do with the thread. About the only thing they might share is they can be located in the commode that is your brain. It really is time to flush it - like your user name suggests.

Everyone who read this post above, and has observed Armstrong for a while, will be struck by the incredible irony of Armstrong suggesting that someone else has an obsession. Wacka wacka ding ding?

It isn't just "Trump lemming" who find your sex habits with farm animals disgusting.
When are you going to stop with the bestiality?
It isn't my habit, as your Lilliputian Trump mind imagines, but I am not sure why the thought of it so offends you because you couldn't have been conceived without it.
If I say you're right about everything and bow to your superior intellect, will you take a step back and realize that you're frothing at the mouth on a running forum about someone who hasn't held elected office since 2009, doesn't know you exist, and has lived a rich, full life with many accomplishments? And maybe realize your obsession and bloviating aren't healthy?
I don't need you to admit anything. Your own words are all the evidence anyone needs to understand your limitations.
The fact that you can't comprehend why HRC is relevant to a discussion on the legality of possessing classified documents is just more evidence of your stupidity.
And the woman hasn't lived a rich full life. She's married to a serial cheater who literally raped a woman and she stuck with him because she cares more about her own political career than anything. She lost the presidency to the person she hates most in the world. lol. If you think she's going to die satisfied you're delusional.
If any of the Clintons go to jail, your life won't change. If Trump goes to jail, your life won't change. Why get so worked up about this stuff? Is it just so you think you're the smartest in any room?

Wait, what? Forget calling people stupid. This is where you have taken this?
There's literally more evidence that armstronglivs regularly engages in bestiality than there is that trump is a fascist which numerous stupid people have claimed here.
If Trump DOESN'T go to prison, our lives may change. Trumpublicans plan to steal elections by having state legislators decide elections, disregarding the actual votes of citizens. That was Trump's plan. That is still their plan. Locking him up doesn't fix everything, but it seems like an important step to restoring rule of law.

It's official, Flagwax. Weisselberg has flipped in open court. He admitted to 15 fraud counts, and got a reduced sentence in exchange for ratting on the Trump Org. Plea-rat.
Weisselberg did not plead the Fifth. He chose to rat instead. It was an intensely personal decision, made in consultation with lawyers. This is a harbanger of things to come. Do you know what a harbanger is? It's something that happens before something else.
The buck stopped with Trump and it’s reasonable for Weisselberg not to take 100% of the blame. Unless it involved the Mafia, anyone else would do the same thing. No one is going to do 10 years for Trump.
Good thing that Weisselberg did this. I wouldn't be shocked if he feared for his life though. I put nothing below Trump to do or his moron supporters. Pretty sure Weisselberg has gotten threats to him and his family already.
Will be interesting if what Weisselberg has provided will convince DA Bragg to decide to push forward now with an indictment on Trump. I'm not so sure about this one, because according to the previous DA and the prosecutors who left in disgust, there was enough evidence before. I think Trump is in way bigger trouble in GA and with the DOJ over both Jan. 6 and the top secret and classified materials that he stole. SOOOO many crimes. Will be interesting to see which one gets him first.
