In a ruling on Wednesday, a Georgia judge blocked a new set of rules introduced by the Republican-led Georgia State Election Board.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Thomas Cox struck down rules that required county election officials to conduct a "reasonable inquiry" into election results before certifying them and allow them to "examine all election related documentation created during the conduct of elections prior to certification of results."
"The court here declares that these rules are illegal, unconstitutional and void," Cox wrote in his ruling.

The only way hospitals and other medical providers are able to stay afloat is if they have enough patients with private insurance. When their Medicare / Medicaid patient pool exceeds a certain percentage they fall into the red. It’s why many rural hospitals now operate with negative or unsustainable margins after the expansion of Medicaid. It’s why a lot of rural hospitals no longer provide maternity care. Dems love to talk about the handful of women who die in states with abortion bans, but refuse to acknowledge their role in rural hospitals become maternity care deserts due to the expansion of Medicaid under Obama and Biden.
