Quite a few of the people posting info here HAVE been from the ulist.

The only legitimate real-time data from the Transcon has all come the ulist.

Everyone here just googled for race results and pointed out what everyone else already knew (or at least I did) - that every PR on his website is a sham except the one from the London Marathon.

About the only interesting thing I saw from actual LetsRun members outside of the Original Poster's videos was the bit about his faked cycling career.

Pretty much Asher did all the real work of note, and LetsRun members just argued with/trolled RobYoung's fanbase.

Fwiw, Rob evidently ran right in front of my place of employment in May. I checked with security and haven't been able to get any video, although I suspect that he was running for this stretch, not riding in the RV.

Apparently new manipulation tactics is what usually happens, and they usually get something called rapid cycling in their attempts at manipulation which I think we've seen here, (the trying to go nuclear intimidate with lawsuits, the "I was so scared of knife wielding assailants in the night" suddenly they're the harmed person thing as they covertly harm others)

According to the page, narcissists are always monitoring for what manipulation 'plays' and if something doesn't seem to be working as a manipulation they abandon it and find a new in rapid succession.

Once they sense they can't make the game work they move on to new sources of narcissistic supply who do believe their games and who are new potential sources for attention, theft or whatever their brand of the illness is trying to obtain.

Not in any way treatable or fixable for true narcissists. The big thing is they are unable to develop a conscience. Can pretend to develop one as a new manipulation and gain attention for that next, but unable to develop one.

This is so crazy that you can hardly believe it. It's like a 3h marathoner were running at 2:10 pace. All alarm clocks would instantly go off after the first mile. But not in the ultra community. They're more interested in whether the guy is nice and "genuine". Results don't matter. Times don't matter. Everything centers around feeling good, navel gazing and vanity.

Kip Litton got away with it for a long time before too many of you non-navel gazers noticed. There have been multiple cheats in the marathon world.

As for the feeling good, navel gazing, and vanity, that's kind of what many letsrun posters such as yourself get out of your charming posts. It's kind of the flavor of the community.
