Potentially good point, of course. But it reminds me of something from a few days ago: Citizens and politicians (merely) pretending to be civically/ethically virtuous is a HELL OF A LOT BETTER than not even pretending. At a minimum, the Rs used to pretend. And mostly quite well, I'd argue. But there's a BIG difference between that, and what we have now.
I'm not a liberal, but I'm quite confident that most liberals (and mabye EVERY single one?) in America would take back George W. and Dick Cheney in a nanosecond.
Oh, and more specifically, regarding judges, good news and bad news:
1) It appears that PLENTY of Republican-appointed (and presumably fairly conservative and/or Republican) judges DO still believe in the rule of law.
2) Bad news, a few who might NOT meet that bar got on SCOTUS. Or, at a very minimum, made a president king-like, which anyone who COULDN'T get into an Ivy League law school would know could result in lawlessness.
What happened to your claim that you did not slander people, sally?
Whom did I slander? You Libs have spent the last 8 years bashing Trump and will do the same for the next 4 years. It has accomplished nothing. Do you not ever get tired of doing it? It has not accomplished ANYTHING.
Happy Easter ! Let us all join our Holy Grabber in Chief; on the 9th Green of one of his Golf courses !!
Why could you not just stop with "Happy Easter?" Instead you had to proceed to bash Trump. You Libs are deranged with Trump. Happy Easter back at you by the way.

If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal.
If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal.
Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power.

Imagine a whole cabinet - indeed, the entire Executive Branch - waking up EVERY day and immediately thinking, "What does Donald want me to say today? What MUST I say for Donald today?"
So what exactly does the term "checks and balances" mean?
And if Trumpers accept the idea that the executive can basically do whatever it wants without answering to the other branches, will you be cool with continuing this precedent when the Democrats are back in office?

Exaggeration? Very possibly not.
.....buy hey, at least the men don't have to wonder what they'll wear !!!

some actually wear a lapel pin with the dictator's likeness. Sickness. No other president would stand for that.
Just reading about Dem. Senator Van Hollen who didn't have any time for the poor Maryland lady Morin whose daughter was brutally murdered and left with 5 kids with no mom but did have the time to jet down to El Salvador to sip Margaritas with the wife-beating MS-13 gang banger who hit his wife in the back of the head with a baseball bat.

Can you show pics or are you just lying again? Show some pics of what you are saying.

Dems/Libs - what is wrong with you?
That’s a question only God can answer, Happy Easter

sally you have access to the internet. I'll not be tasked by trumpers to do their research for them when all they have to do is search 'gold trump lapel pin' and get all the answers they need. grow up.

And just reading some of the twitter comments (not something I usually do), the gaslighting tactic of trying to paint anyone who is anti-Trump as some kind of far left extremist is wild.
I'm pretty middle-of-the-road politically. I've voted for Rs and Ds in my life. I do think we need to deal with illegal immigration, and absolutely think that anyone who comes from another country and commits a crime here should not remain here as a free person. I think Democrats aren't tough enough on crime and make too many excuses for people who commit acts of theft and violence. I don't want men in women's sports.
But these nutjobs would call me a far left extremist because: - While I want illegal immigration to be dealt with, I don't want anyone to be sent to a concentration camp without ever seeing the inside of a courtroom. While I'm sure there are some very bad people who deserve imprisonment, this should be decided by due process and not on the whim of an administration that has already shown itself to be impulsive and mistake prone. - I want well-reasoned and planned economic policy rather than impulsive decisions like putting massive tariffs in place and then reversing them once the inevitable results that were predictable to anyone who has ever taken an undergrad econ course occur - If the size of federal government is to be reduced, I want this too to be a result of careful analysis with well-planned strategies to wind down activities instead of just slashing things whose role and duties the administration clearly doesn't even understand - I think the government should communicate professionally and a I think a Whitehouse twitter account that comes across like it's run by a 14-year-old edge-lord is literally blood in the water to countries that are run by serious men who can see what unserious leadership we have here

A White House official said via email: "Obviously, we did not order officials to wear this pin. If they choose to wear one, it is to show support for the greatest President in history." Brendan Carr, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) chair seen in photos wearing the golden Trump lapel pin, had not responded to requests for comment about why he wore the pin at the time of this writing.

You made an absurd allegation. Back it up or don't make any more absurd allegations. If I was to make an absurd allegation I would be more than happy to back it up. I would request you to back it up.
"They cannot help the fact that they were born fucked up!"
I would like all the Trumpistas, or at least the intellectually somewhat-honest ones, to ask themselves what their response would be if any other President of the United States had dropped that kind of public F-bomb.
I know how they would have responded if Obama had done so. "Oh, he's debased and disgraced the office!" We would be hearing about it for the rest of the election cycle. But their L&S Donald Trump? Always a free pass.
