agip,
Doing well here. Improved my 5k time this season by 1:25 (23:44, and 400m by 4 seconds (1:22.71). Dropped 15 lbs. I took a couple week break, gearing up for fall road season. How about you?
Hey your BLV is up 5.352% principal YTD plus dividend yield of a couple percent and GLD up 15% YTD.

good to hear you have been running well. My favorite masters running teaching is 'you can always run faster than last year.'
15 pounds is a big drop - hope that helped.
I've been running well - hit 82.6% for a 5k last month - 17 mid. That's about as well as I've ever done by age graded % in a road race, so I am pleased. I was able to do that after an easy summer of training, so I'm curious to see if going hard will speed me up or slow me down. I'm definitely seeing lately that high mileage is counterproductive to me.
That said, I'm in the middle of a big training block, getting ready for the masters 5k xc champs in Boston.
Bonds have taken off like a Hawker Harrier yes. I'm not brave enough to sell, but I can see the argument to take profits in inters and long term bonds here.
