Intersting that only Wyoming and UCF are posted if speculation is true. Clemson and Va Tech still have their throws coaches listed on their websites....as does Alabama.

Andrew Dubs got the VA Tech throws job. Hes that guy that seems to be move up the ladder without actually doing much.
Any insights on Missouri S&T?
Not connected to program, but seems like gender equity not on issue. Good academic school that can probably attract strong men's recruits.
Maybe the location is not as nice as Golden, but any reason S&T should not be at DII XC nats regularly and compete with similar schools like Colorado Mines and SD Mines?

Colorado Mines is a good team (1st and 3rd last two years), SD Mines is pretty bad, 19th in their region last year. So you are talking about competing with two very different levels of teams.

Ah, I don't follow DII closely.
Is S&T a possible contender, given it is similar academically to Mines in Colorado? What kind of support do they have? What applicants will they attract?

Dubs is a good coach who has recruited well in his stops. However - I completely agree with your assessment. I will also say, that it isn't necessarily his fault that he hasn't been anywhere for very long. For some of us the movement from job to job is hard to avoid. For others, they land in the right spot right away.
As long as he's cool not actually coaching in this postition at Stanford...same goes for Bonsey...don't see it.
