Since this is a similar policy that Bernie would have supported (40-45% of the democratic base) and the other half of the Democrats (corporate Dems) will no doubt oppose the tariffs (since they are programmed to hate everything Trump does). Trump playing politics. NY is his home but he does not want to help out Schumer (D). If the project is not built the risk is very high that one of the two decrepit tunnels from NY to NJ will be closed. Commuting for NYers will get much uglier; if that is even possible. ... THANKS TRUMP!!!

You have it completely wrong about tariffs and the jobs. Trump also campaigned that he would release his taxes. That Mexico would pay for a wall. And that Hillary would be locked up. Just to name a few of his 3000 lies since he got elected. That he "campaigned" for something means absolutely nothing.

The swamp is filled with tRumps grifters. An "attorney-client" top-secret email was stolen. Never mind that the RNC deputy finance chair demanded a mere $80 million to get Trump to squash a money laundering investigation. Never mind at all.

Trump has been and will continue to make fools of all his supporters. He puts them in an impossible position to constantly be on the defense for his actions. Trump drags down everyone around him. Not a single person linked to him gains prestige/honor/credibility. It has been proven he had criminals working for him during his campaign. They all have ties to Russia.

1) Yes, those people were fools when they voted for Trump. You can BECOME a fool. Those people did.

2) We don't really care about the tax returns that much at this point...it's just a pile on, but it is indicative of Trump wanting to hide his financial details, and there are only two reasons for that - A) conflict of interest shown in his taxes, B) he isn't worth as much as he says he is or hasn't made as much as he says he has. Trump is a phony, a fraud, and the myth of his wealth is part of that. He has always claimed to be 3 to 5 times more wealthy than most estimates, and I bet it's even more than that.

3) You gave yourself the "Reasonable Republican" moniker. I'll be the judge of that. Did you vote for Trump? If so, why? If you did, do you still support him today? Tip - You can't answer the last question in the affirmative and be reasonable. Also, you COULD be reasonable depending on how you answer the second question, but you have still been proven a fool to have voted for him if you did. A fool Trump voter can shed that label if they oppose him now.
