Jake Barraclough (Ran to Japan) just ran a 2:16 marathon in a training run. 👀
Absolutely awesome. Would be amazing if he ran a sub 2.10 in Tokyo. Would be equivalent to Philly's time; however, minus all the drama, pacing, altitude training and "the race that changed everything" aftermath !

For such a very annoying character she seems to have a decent following. Similar to Nick Bester. I just don't know who actually would enjoy listening to them talk

Agree, they are both annoying. For me the try hard influencer nature of Philly makes her worse than Nick though. She uses every tired old trend: b roll of making coffee and cooking, holding the little clip on mic, jump shots to different locations while reading the same script, stupid memes - it's all so unorginial. Floberg is similar.

Flo slowly but surely turning into Seth. B roll of the kids, coffee. BPN bars instead of bobos.

Seth is the giant and Floberg does not deserve the privilege to be trying to stand on his shoulders.

Pedantically I'll point out that a Male 2.10 is a better performance than Bowden's marathon PB.

I find it so weird that he is constantly posting pictures of his children on Facebook. Why would you share your kids faces with the Internet? Irresponsible parenting imo, respect their privacy.

Do you think anyone prostituting their privacy on YouTube to make a tiny amount of money has a shred of self awareness?
Tbh he is one of the few people I can watch these days. Comes off genuine, obviously very focused on training, and the Japan element makes it feel different than the other shoetubers
Nick Bester's worst week of his life is when he wasn't able to get on his social media.
The reconstruction segment at the start of the video is maybe one of the worst pieces of content put out by any youtuber across the platform.
And I'm just not convinced there's any point in hearing the thoughts of a man who admits clicking a random link he was suspicious of when it comes to online safety. Particularly when he's spending most of the video playing buzzword bingo. Let's all just stay in our lanes
His training sessions seem really risky in terms of injuries and even crazy, but this is exactly what makes it so interesting. Apparently, a weekly mileage of +200 km works for him, especially now that his iron deficiency has been fixed. A very interesting YouTube channel!

The reconstruction segment was funny in a cringe kinda way. We need to lighten up on this thread
