The 3 options you gave are all incorrect. And tell me who else on the staff had true success that wasn’t Tyrone Edgar or Shawn Jackson. Unless you were part of the program I don’t see how your outside view is valid. You sound like a buddy of KD or you are KD.
Nimrit Ahuja placed 2nd at USA U20s 5,000m. Improved on her previous best by 30 seconds to qualify for NACACs so it's certainly a young group but not a hopeless group.
great, so she'll be burned out for the 2023 cross country season because she ran in meaningless meets over the summer. U20 NACAC is August 4th-6th.
They were 56 points out of 2nd to last place.
There is NO NACAC U20 - it is Pan Am U20. If you knew anything you would at least know that. Also, they are not meaningless meets - they are international championship meets (not on the level of world's obviously, but developmental meets nonetheless).
What is meaningless are the NCAA meets - they serve no real purpose but to destroy development with the exception of a very few athletes and programs.
That's kind of cool that coaching's in her blood though. According to her bio on the FSU website, her dad was a track coach at Mead high school in WA state and he won 4 state championships.

Brown's problems were rooted in a non-competitive culture prior to Hanna - I would fault her more for not sticking around to complete the turnaround vs not working hard at improving the program (she only spent 2 years). Between culture, COVID and the near death of the men's program it was a rough stretch in the 2018-21 cycle. That said Ivy League recruiting standards just continue to rise, so it is a moving target.
