People who believe in law and order don't defend criminals. The argument by Trump supporters almost always starts out with "they did this" false equivalance as an excuse for illegal actions. There is rarely defense of the activities being legal. Sometimes they offer vague statements about a corrupt system which republicans are powerless to combat even when holding power in all branches of government.
Biden, the Clintons, Pence, Obama, etc. were all guilty of the same classified documents crime as Trump, yet you still defend them. Just because Biden was deemed incompetent to proceed to trial does not eliminate his guilt.
Mens rea is an element of the crime. Convincing a jury, beyond a reasonable doubt, of Trump's mens rea would be a slam dunk. The other folks you named, not so much.
And, as others have pointed out many times, it DOES NOT MATTER whether the docs were classified, declassified, or never classified. Those docs belonged to the gummint, not Trump. That is not "the classified documents case," just as his New York trial was not "the hush money case."

There is a large difference. All but Trump cooperated with the government when they asked for the return of documents. Trump lied via his lawyers. He hid documents from inspectors. After nearly a year of lying and refusing to return documents, the FBI went and took them and had every legal right to do it. They gave him lots of time and many warnings. Trump could have avoided it all by just cooperating as all the others did.
Why do people want a President that lies to government agencies?
Thanks for reinforcing my point by using false equivalance to defend criminal actions. Bravo.

You are aware that is untrue, yet you posted it anyway. Why do that? Why deliberately post something that you know is untrue? Fvcking weird. Blatant lying is weird.

For the record, here is the Superbiffing Indictment in Trump's Bathroom case:
Paid Russian troll? You guys will buy anything the oligarchs tell you.
Still looking for those WMDs?
Believe 3 towers owned by Luck Larry got knocked down by 2 planes hijacked by guys with boxcutters?
The pee tape?
Hunters Biden's laptop was Russian disinfo?
9/11 wasn’t an inside job, and I can debunk anything you bring about it being an inside job. There’s zero proof.
If you've hung out on this thread for any length of time, you'd know that proof or evidence is meaningless concept to a MAG@. An allegation can have absolutely no evidence or proof at all, and a MAG@ will believe it anyway (e.g., 9/11 was an inside job or a criminal conspiracy rigged the 2020 election against Trump). On the other hand, an allegation can have significant corroborated, credible evidence and proof and a MAG@ will dismiss it as bogus, sham, etc. (e.g., Trump felony lies and obstruction related to his stealing Top Secret documents and storing them in his bathroom). It's just the way it works. It's the way god and his son (Jesus Christ) made the world.
Dems value democracy, truth, prosperity, helping poor people, ushering in more freedom
Rs value pushing back against gays, transexuals, anyone with an odd haircut, immigrants, etc
Is that about right? Dems are for things, but those things have made rural america so angry that rurals are now perfectly willing to give up democracy if it means gays and trans and immigrants stay away from their towns.
Weird, rurals. Weird.

Just as ignorance of the law is not a valid defense for breaking the law, cooperating with authorities AFTER you have broken the law and AFTER Trump has already been paraded in front of the public is not the same, either. Biden never should have been in possession of the documents he had in the first place. He obviously never attempted to return the documents PRIOR to his DOJ raiding Mar-A-Lago. Obama had his in an old grocery store in Chicago for two years prior to giving them back to the Feds. Clinton never should have had her private server in the first place.

In 2016, when Trump was running the first time, I said there are a lot of people who are mad at the federal government and just want to burn it down.
There in is a lot of Trump's appeal and being a ruthlessly horrible person is probably a necessary qualification to succeed at this.
Yeah. After meeting and working with many Trump voters a lot of them just have a contempt for the 'status quo' when it comes to a functioning government.
Many are fully transparent or closet racists and xenophobes.
Most are just voting R down the line because they are hooking up to the policies in spite of the man.

I agree with you, and, dare I say, the Covid theatrics and theocracy, followed by the environment of BLM and oppression-of-the-day rioting made it substantially worse, along with a federal government and Fed Reserve actually hellbent on stimulus and inflation at that point.
The real problem though is the border and the Democrats pulling the mutiny on Biden and elevating a horrible, uninspiring candidate, who commands nobody’s respect, most notably Biden’s. Unforced errors like CBS’ 60 minutes editing her interview just reaks of censorship and a lack of transparency, and, frankly, lack of trust.
I’m am not at all sold that the 13 keys matter in this election. Ironically, Biden should be taking a victory lap on the economy. But people are pissed off at the Federal government, no doubt you are correct. And Kamala is hardly the anti-dote.

Agreed. The real tragedy for America in all this will be if that Trump Bathroom case never gets tried. I'll be despondent about it if that happens. I really will. He's just a lying felon un-American jagoff and deserves to be prosecuted in a court of law.
And like you said, the case is a slam dunk. You could have jury full of MAG@s, including some of the most tin-foil wrapped fools posting on this thread, and Trump would get convicted in a trial on the merits. The accumulated evidence will be impossible for any juror to ignore.

Which is, I think, another way of saying that SO MUCH of America is so much less than we thought it was.
Sure, that's a nice town. Sure, those people were friendly and helpful. Life is nice. Except, did you know that they'd eagerly vote for everything that we know Trump to be, right down to the "killing the essence of the nation" thing? They will. Kinda takes the shine off all of it, eh?

Blah blah blah - Dems are as pure as the driven snow. Repu[blicans are the most horrific people on the Earth. Seriously, Agip? Are you really posting this garbage?
It IS in the style of a 10-year old's comic, or action figure. Or a frustrated wife's romance novel.
So, why are you, grown man, sharing it?
Stay away from me - you crazy person. Stay away from kids too.
Does your wife know that you gaze upon and share idealized drawings of a naturally-tanned and buff Trump, freshly returned from battle, victoriously riding his steed through adoring crowds?
I know which way the creepy finger should be pointing......

Or......returning to his daddy-bought luxury NYC apartment after a night of grabbing them in the pu***, circa 1972. His personal Vietnam, don't you know.
