Brown women's coach Hannah Chappell Dick got the Amherst M&W XC job, leaving effective immediately. Just announced to team. So open spot for new Women's XC coach at Brown.
The whole situation is pathetic and CWU will get what they deserve. Brittany should have been a slam dunk hire. And don't make it seem like her contract was not renewed and that she wanted to head back there. No one would return to that situation under those circumstances.
The Brown women's team is a mess. At XC Heps, Brown's #1 runner finished behind EVERY OTHER TEAM'S 5TH RUNNER. Yes every team would have swept Brown 1-5.
And Brown just graduated their top 3 from that group. Their top returner finished 58th.
Good luck to whoever takes over at Brown. And I hope Amherst doesn't have the same decline as Brown.

Nimrit Ahuja placed 2nd at USA U20s 5,000m. Improved on her previous best by 30 seconds to qualify for NACACs so it's certainly a young group but not a hopeless group.

Seems like it was a dumb decision to never run her in the 5k during the season then. Good for her for getting international experience but seems like they planned out her college season poorly then raced her into late July which isn't really the key to success for a freshman female

great, so she'll be burned out for the 2023 cross country season because she ran in meaningless meets over the summer. U20 NACAC is August 4th-6th.
I am here to be a whistleblower for TCU track and field- TCU is a program waiting to fall off the cliff any year now. The athletic director Jeremiah Donati does not care about this program and fired the former HC (Darryl Anderson) out of spite because of disagreements in the past. This left TCU with a small window of time to hire new and current HC Khadevis Robinson, a former TCU t&f athlete. They clearly did little to no research on him and he has been running it into the ground since he arrived. There’s a lot to be said about Khadevis (ask me more about him I’d love to share) and he is the most narcissistic and unknowledgeable person at a power 5 HC position. He cannot properly run a workout, and he does not know how to make a workout plan for the week at any point in the season or off season. He also hired Garfield Ellenwood from Maryland as the sprints coach who left middle of the fall semester claiming he didn’t move his family out from Maryland and was constantly flying home to see them, so he wanted to move home. This was a lie to his athletes who had trusted and trained with him for a few months after losing their successful coach from the past season- he took a HC position somewhere in Florida. Khadevis had been warned not to hire on Garfield but insisted on hiring his friend anyway. He kept the successful and established throws coach (John Kenneson) and jumps coach (Shawn Jackson) who were formerly under Darryl Anderson for years, only to turn around AFTER outdoor conference championships and fire them both, putting them in an awkward position to find a new job. Luckily, to my understanding, Shawn Jackson has found a spot at South Carolina, and there is belief he made that move himself for the SEC money, but the truth is Khadevis fired him because he feels threatened by older and more knowledgeable coaches. But as for Kenneson, I do not know his plan forward. Khadevis did not have the decency to let these coaches know they would be let go when coaching positions would be majority open. TCU’s success in the 4x4 this year is not a product of training under Khadevis, it’s a product of raw natural talent that Darryl Anderson had recruited that would thrive under any circumstances. Khadevis is completely stripping the program dry and trying to build a bigger program like Texas by having more recruits with smaller/less scholarships. This is going to prove to be a difficult task given that TCU cost $60k+/year and people will soon realize Khadevis is the biggest fraud in all of track and field. The athletes themselves all do not like Khadevis and his narcissistic tendencies. He never shows up to anything on time, he is always on his phone like he’s too good to talk to anyone in real time, and he will never let you speak in meetings because he is too busy talking about himself and stroking his own ego. Let’s not forget to mention he even treated the former athletic trainer poorly who was also a top name in track and field training (Bronson Sagon) which resulted in him leaving to USC (California) as he wanted no part in a program ran by Khadevis. He is very demeaning toward his entire staff and everyone who works with him besides his friends who he hired, and it shows because no one wanted to be there and listen to him in meetings and after meets etc etc. Khadevis also does not do any research on his athletes and has no clue what anybody on his team runs. An example would be the British 400m runner Ethan Brown. Ethan Brown was recruited out of HS from the UK running a 46 and Khadevis would personally attack him in practices in a demeaning manner saying things insinuating he thought Ethan was only a 48 runner and that Ethan will never be successful. Ethan went on to propel the 4x4 that was averaging 3:15 for the majority of the season and help them land a spot at outdoor nationals and winning Penn Relays 4x4 with a time of sub 3:05 I believe. That’s not to say he didn’t have the help of David Seete, Ryan Jordan, and Donnie James, but it is an example of how demeaning he is to his athletes when he doesn’t even know what they are capable of. So to reinforce, Khadevis’ athletes (and I mean all of them) do NOT like him. Khadevis even once referred to himself as the Michael Jordan of track in front of his athletes (if that was the case Michael Jordan must have had a mediocre career). All of this is to say the TCU program is in shambles and is not showing signs of getting any better. I feel bad for the new jumps and throws coaches he brings on as they have no idea what they are getting into. Consider TCU track and field a history lesson in 5 seasons if TCU AD Jeremiah Donati does not take notice and care of this downward spiral he initially created. I will take questions, comments and concerns and would be happy to answer anything. The truth is out and will continue to come out until Khadevis is let go and gone from the NCAA.

You know this information is so specific that folks will know who wrote this. why not just move forward and be happy you aren’t in the situation that is so bad?
Whether Brittany was an excellent coach or not is an opinion. What do you base that on? Maybe talk to former athletes (not all but definitely a lot) other coaches at CWU and recruits that’s didn’t go to Central Because of her reputation, Facts. She’s not going anywhere she’s staying in Ellensburg so maybe HS is her next stop.
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College has hired Sam Alexander as head coach for men's cross country and track & field, as announced by Director of Athletics Mo
But seriously, you lied and you know it. Anyone that has coached can read disgruntled when they see it. You either an athlete that failed or he cut, or a coach he fired. Either way, this is not informing us of anything, this is your opinion from a sunken place. I noticed you did not mention the coaches on staff and the success they DID have this season. It is glaringly missing. Nice try though.
