The illegally deported man is a test case to see what Trump can get away with. If this is't stopped -- jail Bondi and Miller for a start -- expect an American citizen born in the U.S., whose family has been in the U.S. for over 100 years, to get sent outside the country to a prison where they cannot be found.
I personally believe that the illegally deported man is not in El Salvador. Trump has him hidden somewhere else where can ignore legal due process. The same "they were sent to El Salvador" but they were sent somewhere else (double top secret) is coming soon.
you don't need to go all conspiratorial. his family isn't contesting that he isn't in el salvador and neither is the president of el salvador.
Similarly you don't need to take the next step and say "Trump will do it to American citizens next." That just feeds Trump diehards.
Stick to the case at hand which has many procedural concerns.
And if Bondi or someone is held in contempt, we could quickly have a bigger problem if Trump just dismissed the charges. Or he could just pardon her right?
You probably need to follow the news a bit more. Trump appeared to imply exactly that when the Central American dictator just visited.

Oh, and more broadly, and for the rest of his life, and at every moment: Never give Donald Trump ONE SHRED of the benefit of the doubt.
And was that not already glaringly obvious MANY years ago?
Another whiney b*tch Trump supporter that f*cked around and found out. He would go home devastated, but he's being forced to sell his homes. Maybe there's room in Adolt's mom's doublewide?
you can hear the echoes in m'aga of the 1930s Germans talking about the first jailing and killing of the jews and gays and socialists in Germany...
'Jews are not real Germans....Socialists want to destroy our nation....gays are perverted...making them disappear in the middle of the night is probably not the worst thing for Germany...I won't defend their rights, only weirdos would defend the rights of such undesirable elements. '
Just what m'aga is saying about the el salvador guy. 'Good to have a strong man fighting for Germans/Americans for once, just get rid of due process for a little bit to get rid of the bad elements like this guy, it's fine, it's ok, it's good.'

Bernie Sanders has been repeatedly uttering the phrase “Israel has a right to defend itself” on his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour with Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, which in the year 2025 can only be interpreted as blatant genocide apologia.
Israel does not have “a right to defend itself” against an occupied population in a giant concentration camp. Under international law it has a right to end the occupation, and that’s it. “Israel has a right to defend itself” is just a slogan people say when they want to justify supplying an ongoing genocide.
At one point in the tour Sanders stood passively watching as police dragged off rally attendees who draped a Free Palestine flag over the US flag during his speech. He just awkwardly continued monologuing as their flag was confiscated and they were forcibly removed, even as the crowd booed and eventually began chanting “Free Palestine”.
Sanders has been mixing his support for Israel in with periodic criticisms of Netanyahu and the Israeli government’s actions in Gaza, always taking care to make his criticisms about the behavior of Israel’s current leadership and not the nature of the racist apartheid state itself.
Sanders is doing this for two reasons. Firstly, he is working to galvanize a big tent inclusive coalition of Democrats in opposition to Trump, and he wants that big tent to include people who think genocide is bad and people who think genocide is fine. He doesn’t want to offend the pro-genocide liberals.
Secondly, Sanders is doing this because he himself is a Zionist. Like other liberal Zionists, Bernie Sanders upholds a vision of an Israel that has never, ever existed: one which remains an ethnostate dominated by Jews, but which conducts itself in a kind and just manner, without constantly murdering and abusing Palestinians.
Do you have a thought of your own or do you always have to copy/paste other people's words and pretend they are your own?

as you know, israel stopped occupying gaza decades ago and the result was a violent islamic revolution inside gaza that ended democracy there.
then the new gaza dictators started raining missiles into israel for no good reason. Israel made a limited reaction, hoping gaza would sort itself out on its own.
then 0ctober 7 happened when gaza rewarded israel's withdrawal and standoff position by invading israel, killing 1000s of civilians and taking hostages.
at that point, no nation would stand by and wait for the next missile, the next invasion. So israel decided to fight back against Gaza. You think israel should have laid down its arms and not defended itself.
that said, israel, as usual, went too far and caused too much death and destruction.
That said, most of the arab world was more than happy to stand back and let israel weaken the terrible hamas government that no one but iran likes...while make israel even more of a pariah. double win for arab governments.

I would still trust him alone with my 12 year old daughter over Donald Trump.
p.s. You forgot the part where an immigration judge issued a withholding of removal order.
That judge was woke.
The judge that issued the withholding of removal order spent 26 years on active duty as a judge advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps and received a Masters of Law in Military Law (criminal) from The Judge Advocate General’s School of the U.S. Army.
When calling someone "woke" is your only argument, it's your sign your argument is nonsense.

Israel is currently occupying Gaza.
Maybe this alleged "Jerome" Powell clown needs to be relocated to Salvador. Only liberals could support this career government grifter over the economic wallop that Trump packs with his tariffs which have transformed the American daily economy into one of wealth.
Nearly everyone has predicted that when Trump openly defies the courts it will be a watershed moment in our march to autocracy. Another watershed moment will occur if Trump removes our fed chairman and replaces him with another political yes-man, it will be the end of the United States as an investment haven and an economic partner to the world. Crackpot leaders installing yes men to manage their fiscal policy is reserved for only the most primitive and corrupt banana republics.
Watch this space. They are priming the pump for it and the right wing ecosystem is already trying to justify it to the nation.

Is the reason that you don’t want to have a serious discussion because, deep down, you know that your position is not one based on substance or impartiality?
Cite all the examples of liberals denying due process. If you want to cite Lincoln suspending habeas corpus or FDR’s internment of Japanese and Japanese Americans, go ahead.
We don’t deny anyone due process. Me, with my family in my private residence, isn’t a court of law, is it? If you subdue an intruder in your home, can you do anything to him? Anything? Or is even he afforded some protection by the law?
Please let me know if you want to be a serious person or not.
Democrats engage in lawfare with corrupt prosecutors. This is the opposite of due process.
Trump was prosecuted for fraud in a case with no victim by a Democrat prosecutor who literally got elected by campaigning to "get Trump".
She also committed mortgage fraud herself. How fun that that disgusting 🐖 will go to prison!
Did Trump have a trial? With a judge? And a jury? And did he get to have a defense team made up of lawyers?
That’s due process. He got what everyone deserves when the state brings up a charge against someone. Is it hard for you to understand that?

Sen. Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to meet with Abrego Garcia and was denied access to see him. Bukele said that he wasn't able to send him back. That raises one of three possibilities: 1) Bukele's government won't cooperate with the US and will just keep Abrego Garcia in their gulag for as long as they please; 2) Bukele's gulag has lost track of him (the CECOT shaves everyone's head and has everyone dress the same. Many are concerned that the government has no idea who is actually in CECOT and has no records of who is kept where in the prison); 3) Bukele disappeared Abrego Garcia either by having him killed or dumping him in another country.
And "Trump will do it to American citizens next" is not a slippery slope argument. Sebastian Gorka, Trump's counter terrorism czar, said on the record that people who oppose Trump's immigration policies could be labeled as providing material support for terrorist or aiding and abetting terrorists. Trump said publicly that he was considering jailing Tesla vandals in El Salvador on the grounds that they were terrorists. So, this isn't something people are just speculating about for argument's sake. Trump and his senior advisors are saying it out loud.
This all goes back to the Patriot Act and the war on terror. The Patriot Act was the basis for W Bush sending terrorism suspects to Guantanamo for indefinite detention (they are still there 20+ years later). If Trump labels people as terrorists, the government can invoke the Patriot Act and detain them wherever they want as long as they want, even if they are US citizens.
Trump can issue pardons for criminal contempt of court. So, Trump has a clear path to round up opponents, deport them to Bukele's gulag and ignore court orders requiring the government to return them to the US. This sh#t is real and is not Trump Derangement Syndrome.
President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador had previously offered to imprison convicted criminals from the United States in his country’s notorious prison facilities, for a fee.
The Supreme Court declined to hear the case of Moath al-Alwi, in which the government has made some eyebrow-raising claims about detention and rendition.
