But that is not the priority. The priority is to cleanse the US of any non-white immigrants in such a brutal fashion that it causes a shockwave of fear across all non-white immigrants, whether they are documented or not. And whether they are citizens or not. The message is loud and clear. If you do not get out of the US, you will be rounded up and sent to a torture chamber in El Salvador for the rest of your life. No one will be able to save you. If a judge orders your release or return, the Trump administration will ignore them.
This is all being done very purposefully because Trump knows that it is physically impossible to fulfill his promise to deport 10-15 million people even without due process and just rounding people up. There are only so many people that federal agents can scoop up in an 8 hour workday. And there are only so many detention centers in the US that can house people. The best way to get immigrants to leave is to scare the sh#t out of them by threatening to send them to Bukele's torture chamber. If Hitler was alive today, he would be envious.
