It is important to discover the ideology associated with the killing of Charlie Kirk, and hopefully in due time we will know. Though what has already been solidified in the annals of history is the pure evilness of too many on the left. The celebrations, the cheering, the glee displayed by fellow Americans at the brutal killing of another human being is beyond disturbing. This killing has made it crystal clear. This vile hatred cannot be reasoned with, cannot be debated, and at virtually all costs should be kept away from regaining power in this country. All peaceful avenues should be exhausted to achieve the goal.
How long did that take before you're back to your worst?
How is that bad? We don't want each other's team in power, so let's battle it out peacefully and not kill each other in the process.
It’s time to designate the transgender movement as a terrorist movement. Trans people are a threat to society. We can’t allow them to continue killing people. They need to be socially ostracized and the President should make medical transitioning ILLEGAL in our country. It’s time.
Let me fix that for you Laura:
It’s time to designate the MAGA movement as a terrorist movement. MAGA scum are a threat to society. We can’t allow them to continue killing people. They need to be socially ostracized and the President should make voting Republican ILLEGAL in our country. It’s time.

And I believe some of the worst ideas tend to come from people who adopt all-or-nothing attitudes about their “team” and the “other team.”
Lots of people are willing to excuse plenty of terrible things from their own side and will circle the wagons around them just as long as they can keep sticking it to the other guys.

Except my side doesn't consider words "violence," won't gleefully cheer when a political rival is killed, and will denounce any initiation of force violence, even if it may come from our own side.

You deluded if they think they wouldn't.
Plenty of MAGA think Obama should be executed for treason.
No one post the president's kids, multiple Republican politicians, and Charlie Kirk's own reaction to Paul Pelosi being violently assaulted. It might cause this poster to lose their grip on reality.
This assassin, along with mass shooters (and including "school/university" shooters in particular) of the past 30-odd years ultimately subscribes to an ideology, or really anti-ideology, all its own-- "shooterism"-- the aim of which is to immortalize the individual person of the killer.
Ideologically motivated killers of the past tended to have legible motives-- "the politics of the deed", "accelerationism", etc. As simplistic, two-dimensional, and just plain politically wrong as these were, they could be usually be read as "left" or "right".
By contrast, people like this guy, and pretty much every mass shooter since the Columbine boys, have had as their main audience other online aficionados of highly public murder/assassination. And the ultimate act of affiliation-- plus guarantee of fully memed immortality-- within this group is to actually shoot people irl.
It may in fact now become the case that the assassination of political figures will replace the shooting up of schools and other public places as a preferred expression of "shooterist" ideology And this will simply be because these other kinds of killing have become so commonplace that they confer no notoriety at all anymore.
When other shooterists see the kind of attention this guy is getting it's quite possible that a few of them will seek out there own preferred targets, regardless of the target's ideology.
This is all much more a manifestation of "American Berserk", online version, than it is any kind of left/right politics, and it will never touch the lives of the vast majority of the population. The political violence that the average person should fear most, by contrast, will come from/is coming from the state. This kind of violence will affect the lives of everyone, and may end the American experiment in democracy.
However, Tyler wasn't. He became full on unhinged angry leftist.
It’s odd then that so many on the right have argued that the root cause of mass shootings / gun violence in the US is the erosion of the nuclear family, conservative family values, and christian values.
Since this kid—and the Minneapolis school / church shooter, the Tennessee school shooter, and the Ohio school shooter all were raised in very religious MAGA families that line of thinking doesn’t make sense..:.or does it?
f these shooters are mentally ill—did their attempted indoctrination into these conservative political and religious beliefs from a young age cause their mental illness? If guns should be kept from those that are mentally ill—should someone’s MAGA beliefs be classified as a mental illness? Or, perhaps, if a family is MAGA and deeply christian and they have kids—maybe those households shouldn’t be allowed to have guns since their appears to be a trend of their kids becoming mentally ill, taking their guns, and killing people? I only bring this up because several MAGA politicians have recently asked the DOJ to look into restricting firearm sales to certain groups that some view as mentally ill. Maybe they should take a look into the demographic characteristics of people like the Robinson family and look into restricting those people’s access to firearms.
…and they, those wayward shooters, were all brainwashed by media and academics that are mainly anti Western / anti American in beliefs, and comprised / run mainly by people who historically try to destroy every single country they live in.
So why not look into the demographics of these people who own the media, who connived and conspired as an organized group to create the Fed, who always try to ruin their host nations via blackmail and bribery, those people who always indulge in projection while creating strife amongst everyone else. People who are so horrible in their behaviors that they actually try to have laws enacted that stop people from talking about them or anything else they don’t want to be honestly discussed or examined. 🥸
Maybe we should look into these people’s access to firearms, and unlimited funds from owning the Fed and having access to almost limitless cash to fund businesses - and fund societal upheaval. Never mind their hostile use of the media. We can look into why their children are so often sexually perverse while always pointing the finger at others
Had to add what you conveniently left out of your post. For some reason.

“My side” is not uniform. Look at Sanders’ denunciation of the Scalise shooter: look at how unequivocal and forceful he is. Compare that to every statement Trump makes about violence against someone on the Left.
There are tons of unstable, reprehensible people. No one side is free of them, but them more people attempt to claim they’re all in one side, the more likely you are to radicalize people.

Maybe I have missed it, but have you heard anyone on the left denouncing the celebration and gleefulness towards the shooting? Do you denounce it?

Sanders also had a good response to the Charlie Kirk assassination

Also depends who on your side you’re talking about and how much you worry about things like words or votes. A couple of days ago, AdultInTheRoom said of someone, “If she voted Democrat, she might as well have pulled the trigger herself.”
it’s not only lefties who say unhinged things online.
