    Does the 4 distance coaches at Notre Dame really coach distance?

    You must be new to this board. Distance is the supreme event and there should never be a limit on how many distance coaches you have. You can only be successful if you have a distance based team. All other events be damned

    Miller tried to have an SEC staff at a PAC-12 school …for a team that has always been carried by field events, historically AND now. Deep on sprints coaches but doesn’t and likely won’t ever have the squad for that… At least ND actually has a distance squad warranting that many coaches.

    Naval Academy looking for new director/head coach of track and field and XC. Wonder where Jamie are Cook’s going? Can’t be back to Oregon, can it?

    Doubt he goes back to Oregon. But he’s a damn good coach and I’d imagine it would take something big to take him away from Navy.

    I saw that Jim Bleedlow is taking the head cross country coaching position at Dewitt Huff University! Big stuff. Congrats Coach! They should be a force in the coming year.
