Let’s be clear though. Benghazi was never about Benghazi. I mean, not to the extent the argument is that one Hillary Clinton didn’t respond quickly and decisively enough in the actual moment. It’s more about that Obama pulled a George W Bush when he orchestrated the coup on Khaddafi without Congressional approval.
The primary difference being that no US troops were stationed in the aftermath. He got NATO to do his dirty work. But a coup that led to a Civil War that was indirectly responsible for that massive dam break in the east of the country that possibly killed up to 10,000 Libyans. unfortunately the history of negotiating with tyrants like Putin when they are bent on imperial conquest is not one with much success. We can all mourn the dead and the lives ruined but blaming America for those things is not defendable.
That said, Obama did manage a successful negotiation with Iran to stop their nuke program, but, again showing how diplomacy fails...as soon as Trump took office he unilaterally killed the deal the Iranian government stuck out its neck for. Which proved to Iran that the US is not an honorable negotiating partner. They won't negotiate with us for a long time. There's nothing we can do with Iran anymore since the Republican party poisoned that well.

Internal polling shows Michigan is likely to come down to a few thousand votes (via my school’s Republican club - I go to school right over the border and we’ve been asked to turn out voters). Heading there for the next weekends until the election to try to make turnout among rural white males as high as possible.
