They don't actually review every reported post. Sometimes they just bulk delete reported posts lumped in with other ones.

If the lying cheat calls them and complains, the Rojos will delete posts or whole threads. They did that for Alex Viada and Brian Lawlor, among others.

Hilarious, the London time was from an app on his phone, utter BS. Why use an app time when you are running under a gigantic clock at the finish and wearing a watch? What a liar. I wonder if he will apologise for lying to sponsors or Duncan Slater? Probably not, it's all the fault of cyber bullies not his lying after all...... when will he accept that it's actually his fault?
I find his "we were going to run for 20 hours" defence utterly ridiculous, when he finished early on day one because it was supposedly too dangerous in the dark.
Interesting that he admits getting in the van on his London to Norwich "run". It's like he knows the witnesses are there to show that.
Overall just another scammer who when caught can't admit the full extent of his cheating.

Note that there is a mistake in that article saying 90 miles was covered in the LEJOG, it was only 60 from my screenshot. I've mentioned it to Tom the author to fix.
Tom's article was much nicer than what I wrote and I have a lot more information in my summary than what he was able to publish. Perhaps I will clean it up and make it public when Hugh finishes the London Marathon investigation.

Excellent work, I do hope that the Bournemouth Marathon RD gets back to Dave and he shares what is said. I wonder if a disappearing phone app was involved? I suspect what we might get is the old "pulled out injured then accidentally went across the finish line and forget to tell anyone" line that some people use at London every year.
To clarify things, there were a lot of people providing information to Tom that wrote that news article, not just from me. If I were to make my summary public, I would want to redact some quotes to protect who the information came from.
And to further clarify things, the FollowMyChallenge GPX file shows that Dave only covered 45 miles legitimately from the first and second days of his LEJOG before he got in the van and drove and rode a bicycle the rest of the way. Note the speed plot in orange on the first graph in the screenshot below. I've let Tom know about this so he can fix his article.

Looks like our Hockering Heroes have another ex pal, their former article writer and photographer Mark Hewlett, his name is under those article photos which he would have had to give permission to be used. Looks like Terrie will be taking photos and driving the RV next year, hope they can find someone smarter than her to write their articles though.
