Robinson acted alone and what he did has nothing to do with “sides”. Murdering Kirk made sense to him, but not to most people. No one else is responsible for what he did.

You’re saying that Robinson didn’t act alone? The relevant points about Robinson was that he was willing to murder a human being and that he didn’t grasp that he had no chance of getting away with it. If he was the on the left, who among them was calling for the heads of far right activists? Kirk was harmless and was not changing anyone’s political beliefs. It’s likely that before he was murdered, the vast majority of people on the left had never heard of Kirk.

Since this kid—and the Minneapolis school / church shooter, the Tennessee school shooter, and the Ohio school shooter all were raised in very religious MAGA families that line of thinking doesn’t make sense..:.or does it?
f these shooters are mentally ill—did their attempted indoctrination into these conservative political and religious beliefs from a young age cause their mental illness? If guns should be kept from those that are mentally ill—should someone’s MAGA beliefs be classified as a mental illness? Or, perhaps, if a family is MAGA and deeply christian and they have kids—maybe those households shouldn’t be allowed to have guns since their appears to be a trend of their kids becoming mentally ill, taking their guns, and killing people? I only bring this up because several MAGA politicians have recently asked the DOJ to look into restricting firearm sales to certain groups that some view as mentally ill. Maybe they should take a look into the demographic characteristics of people like the Robinson family and look into restricting those people’s access to firearms.

Families that are religious and conservative, number in the millions. Taking their guns away would require repealing the 2nd amendment.
Defining mental illness is very subjective. Anyone that is held on an involuntary 72-hour hospital is subsequently prevented from purchasing a gun. Other than that, it’s difficult identifying a mentally ill person.

Looks like the school “buddy” of the shooter didn’t pass the smell test. Shame because this had the Trumpers turning cartwheels.

Yeah, the fact that this is subjective is my point. On these boards I have frequently seen MAGAs say that “liberalism is a mental disorder”. Also, it is a fact that Trump himself recently asked the DOJ to look into restricting those with “mental illness” (clearly subjective) access to firearms which a DOJ spokesperson confirmed saying that the department was "actively evaluating options to prevent the pattern of violence we have seen from individuals with specific mental health challenges". Many on these boards have supported Trump / MAGA in pursuing such a policy apparently not recognizing what you acknowledge—that this could mean that down the road MAGA could lose their guns due to this policy.
It’s time to designate the transgender movement as a terrorist movement. Trans people are a threat to society. We can’t allow them to continue killing people. They need to be socially ostracized and the President should make medical transitioning ILLEGAL in our country. It’s time.

Though what has already been solidified in the annals of history is the pure evilness of too many on the left. The celebrations, the cheering, the glee displayed by fellow Americans at the brutal killing of another human being is beyond disturbing. This killing has made it crystal clear. This vile hatred cannot be reasoned with, cannot be debated, and at virtually all costs should be kept away from regaining power in this country. All peaceful avenues should be exhausted to achieve the goal.
