Having 35-45 athletes , men and women , recruiting, coaching three season into much of you actually care and out work into it. Impossible to be good that way
Why in the hell do you have 35 to 45 distance kids in a program? 75% of them are just taking up space.
I hope they do something about the mens sprint program at FSU .I had big expectations for the program, but Ricky Argro has stunk it up the past few years. I thinks it’s time to bring in someone new. Im concerned about the direction of the program. The mens sprint coach need to step it up or Matt Kane need to take over and bring in someone that knows what they are doing . Not having a single guy qualify for nationals indoors or outdoors is pathetic and hurts the program . Every sprinter at Fsu ends up hurt or track career comes to an end. You had some talented sprinters like the juco champion Denzell feagin, Ismael Kone , Kasaun James, Keshaun black and jhevaughn Matterson, and Darryl harraway go there and careers come to an end . Im bringing in somebody who can get results like a Ken harden or Carl Lewis.

The coach at usf or Texas State would be a great hire for fsu.I don’t see them keeping the current sprint coach if they already making cuts. If I’m Matt Kane I’m going after one of the former juco coaches and the coach at Alabama state. He had a kid named Jamarion Stubs go sub 20 and qualify for the finals at Olympic trials. I think it’s time to put Florida State back on the Map for sprints.
