I do want the best for Jess Mclain. She deserves that. But man does Dave Roche make it easy to side with USATF. The arrogance this guy has at the start of the podcast is insane. Having a law degree but not practicing does not make you a lawyer. It makes you an idiot with a law degree. Then the threats he sends at USATF. Like this situation will get resolves, but it wont be because of Dave's threats. Then after his 40 minute crash out they go on to do their usual shilling. Followed by talking about how they don't bath their kids. I do not understand how anyone would support these people or the brands that they work with.
Both of them are deeply fueled by hate and spite, it’s amazing how the SWAP dorks can’t see it. They don’t even try to hide it, but you know they sprinkle in the “we love you all!!!” sh!t which seems to be enough to fool their (easily manipulated) fanbase. So it’s no surprise they would take the first opportunity to attack an organization when they were vulnerable and before all the facts had come out. Even a wannabe lawyer should understand you need to have all the information presented before you form an opinion. Can’t wait to see them back pedal on the next pod!

Do you think it's because they get tricked into thinking they have to carry the same twisted 'positivity and love everyone' around what them? Like, if David and Meg are offering this much 'love', then we should do that too? And with that comes blind support of their misleading behaviors and shills? The Roche's seem to practice a form of fake compassion which has really turned me off. Or maybe the fake compassion is them masking their hate and spite? I dunno, but I find it annoying and see how it can be problematic for their athletes and 'followers'.

he's largely given us the answer, deep insecurity and anxiety is likely the reason for the forced fake positivity and love everyone persona. he's failed at so much and finally getting some traction in this niche sport, but the insecurity is still there and bubbles to the surface here and there, like with the WS build up and failure, spring energy fiasco, AG1 shilling, football, public bashing he did around the half marathon.... like a lot of these, he'll just move on like it never happened and get back to love and fart jokes. notice how he never runs with others, no running partners, no groups, no buddies to vouch for him. it's all mask.

not true at all - he runs/bikes with me all the time. in fact, I was featured on his strava today

Give it a break. Nobody cares. Same 5 nerds here posting junk.
Just found this thread. It’s like the old Seth James DeMoor thread. Obsessed with irrelevant people. That’s not me. I’m actually free from thinking about boring people.

No one cares? David posts under fake names in here constantly and all you SWAP dorks coming here using ad hominem attacks because you just can’t handle listening to your hero being criticized. But yes, no one cares… especially you
"Megan posted Louise Glück’s poem “March” on her Strava today, which felt appropriate.
In Glück’s view, early spring isn’t triumphant or tidy. It’s hesitant and uncertain—things beginning again before they’re fully ready. The ground is still cold, but something is trying. That feels a lot closer to what endurance sport actually looks like: resets, slow rebuilds, setbacks, and the occasional absurdity (pee bowls included).
Meanwhile the last few pages here have drifted into something else entirely—armchair psychoanalysis, gossip about people’s private lives, and the sort of character assassination that tends to flourish when the subject isn’t present.
Glück understood that March is a season of vulnerability, not judgement. The ground is still thawing.

wow! David Roche just saved the day with all his outrage and the pressure he applied to USATF. What a bowse! So grateful for his courage and leadership. Hope he can armchair QB more change.
