I think naïve is exactly right. Muir ran the 16th fastest 1500 ever. The only woman who's run faster in the last twenty years is Dibaba. It's easy to believe that everyone else who ran faster than Muir was cheating; eight of those times came in two races in China, and the rest belong to eastern Europeans running at the height of the EPO era. Many of the women slower than Muir are also suspicious.
And yet somehow people are sure that she, and she alone, is clean.
At the height of MaryMania, I asked an elite runner if he thought Cain was clean. I think his answer applies here: "I certainly hope so."

i think the jersey tug was a far bigger offense for windle than the bumping. Not sure it was worth a DQ, but i could at least understand that one if only because it is a completely unnatural action (and it looked like he did it twice).

I mostly agree, and if K-man had finished anywhere but first place I would totally agree.
At USAs, I thought it was admirable that DW played it entirely straight (in the final straight) holding off Murphy, when a lot of athletes would veer out and try to get away with it.
Hope he will be a bit calmer in his next world final.

Dibaba has supranaturally muscular legs for an Ethiopian. When people have hyper musculature, in T & F they are always doping. Add to the fact she is faster than the Chinese and the Eastern Bloc runners is evidence enough.
