Notre Dame
Notre Dame
From what I've been told, course is normally 5 miles so it is longer than 8k. They only cut off one corner which was run by twice, cutting off just under 100 meters total. Either way, solid performance by GV. I officially rescind my comments earlier about the favorites
I believe Bradley already rs in 2012.
Track he red shirted. Not xc. Correct?
So was Notre dame course short?
Is Malone actually finally a contender?
whats up with luterbach? a 14:2X/3:51@ 1500m/xc all american shouldnt be the 7th guy on gvsu, a good team but still. has he been hurt? transition to different training not working yet?
I have no idea what the training is like at either program so I don't know. Very interested in finding out though.
Bradley didn't race in jersey at all for xc in 2012 that I'm aware of. He did so this season at MSU.
Could be Luterbach just didn't have a great race. Mark List and Mitch Wilkens of GV also bested his time in the JV race. Unnatched FR Zach Panning for GV ran 24:31.1 in the JV race. This would have put him as the #3 runner on the varsity squad by .1 sec.
As a student Assistant at Grand Valley I can confirm that Bryce Bradley is most definitely red shirting.
How? He already red shirted. Just asking.
As the guy who shows up to morning lifts to watch but doesn't show up at any other time, I can confirm that GV will be red-shirting all travel squad for the remainder of the season, and bringing back Bryan Cole Hester as team captain.

There's a video on Flotrack where they interviewed a Notre Dame freshman and he stated that the course was short but didn't say by how much.
Most commonly told 250 meters short, originally 5 mile course
1. GV
2. USI
3. Hillsdale
4. Parkside
5. Malone
6. Ashland
7. Lewis
8. Ferris
9. Wayne
10. Indianapolis
Um...... WHAT?!
SO MUCH SHAKE UP THIS WEEK!!
Malone. NCAA top 10.
Well, being coached by the incredible coach Ritzenhein, Grand valley is looking to go ten deep in the gliac race this year. The only person who could disrupt this from happening is Baum. he could possibly slip in front of the 9 or 10 guy, but its unlikely. Side note- Bryce Bradley could win the gliac easily however a recent decision to invest in earrings could have the potential to eliminate his chance.
What was 250 meters short? The NU XC course? The men ran the same 5k course as the women and the course is 25 feet short due to the original 8k finish coming from the other side. It's 25 feet short and not 250 meters! I love how people state things they have no clue about!
No, genius, the Notre Dame course. I love how people react strongly to things when they don't even know what other people are talking about.
