I firmly uphold that Lagat had a low 12:4x in him between 2005 and 2011.
In 2006 he ran a 3:29 1500m and beat Bekele in a 5000m, running 12:59 with a 51.9 last lap.
2007/2008 may have been his best years to try. It's a shame he was injured for the olympics. He could've put Ramzi to shame.

it's same as looking as proxy for mile+ in noah in 4'50+
