Think that race goes to show how fast Keely could go with better pacing outdoors. Within half a second of her world record completely by herself and without the ridiculously quick opening 400. The 200-600 split was only 59.2 so to run 1:55.3 off that is incredibly impressive. With a pacer taking her as far as possible (600?), I could see her getting close to the outdoor WR.
From her and Georgia’s IG posts they are in crazy shape. Lots of posts of the two of them stumbling and collapsing after hard intervals. They both make it look easy on race day, but they have spent months in a pain cave to get this fitness. It has paid off for both of them.
Ato Boldon saying Athing Mu is the only person who can handle Keely in her form was one of the funniest things I've heard in a while.
She’s in really good form but she got 3rd last year because others can throw her race plan. Mary Moraa has consistently given her fits. Even if it kills her own race it brings in the Odiras and possibly the younger Moraa who have big kicks.
