We changed the title to make it accurate. It was initially titles, "Parker Valby calls out Letsrun Users Armstronglivs and Astro on TikTok". She didn't mention any posters by name.
Your argument is a complete waste of my time. If cross training didn't determine the degree of success - or lack of it - these two runners enjoyed then it had NO SIGNIFICANT EFFECT at all - it was irrelevant to their performances. Yet most here would understand that training (of any kind) is a crucial factor to success. Since you have effectively said training has nothing to do with either success or failure in respect of these two athletes then we must turn to the alternative that athletes may employ to achieve success, which is drugs. Your cloddish arguments ensure you have shot yourself in the foot.
You continue to lack logic and sense.
Most people here understand that similar results can't be expected from two very different situations. Somehow you lack that very basic understanding.
The situations aren't as different as you insist. Two elite athletes, one of whom is a world record holder and Olympic and WC, employed the SAME training methods with virtually opposite results. Neither was injured when they used those methods.

This might be the single dumbest post I've ever seen someone make on this board. It's a good thing you quit your legal career before it started. You'd be laughed out of every courtroom with arguments like this.
The only time you would have ever been in a courtroom is facing charges. You are simply another witless clod here. There are quite a few of you.

You are lying out your keyboard. Very different situations. Jakob was indeed injured and unable to run. Completely unreasonable and moronic to expect the same results. With every post, you show yourself to lack basic understanding of the sport.

haha if that's true, it's hilarious! Reminds me of the famous quote from Billy Madison.
Judge to Armstronglivs: “What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”
Until last year you didn't even know what cross training was. You said cross training was running on a treadmill. You had never heard of the arc trainer.
And yet, your wee brain now thinks you are some sort of expert.
Of course the huge difference in their situations explains the difference in their outcomes. How could it not?
Valby's best results came after:
1. a full year of health in which she was able to combine running and cross-training 2. an active racing schedule
You're comparing her situation with someone who:
1. had a devastating injury which left him unable to do any running at all for a long period 2. hadn't raced in nearly 6 months
Are you for real? Please tell me you're trolling. I can't believe anyone would seriously expect their outcomes to be similar when their situations were so different.

Of course, you are right and everyone else is wrong.
I'm more interested in what happened to completely decimate NB Boston a few months after she joined. They posted a workout Wednesday video right after she joined, with Mark Coogan awkwardly saying to Valby, 'The faster she runs the better she looks. Running from, not appearance," and talking about how great the team is because they are like family. And the next thing we know they have disbanded and Valby has stopped competing indefinitely because of a mysterious "minor" injury.

It does all seem really weird.
I don't keep up really closely with who coaches who so I am wondering who is now coaching Heather MacLean and who will coach ESP when or if she comes back.

Want to try that again?
I'm not really sure what you mean by that. My questions are fairly straightforward.
The situations aren't as different as you insist. Two elite athletes, one of whom is a world record holder and Olympic and WC, employed the SAME training methods with virtually opposite results. Neither was injured when they used those methods.

Rubbish. His cross training was during his recovery and was to protect his Achilles and prevent it becoming inflamed or worse. If he had still been injured he wouldn't have been doing any kind of training. You show you have no idea what injuries do and how athletes recover. He wouldn't have been competing at the world's if he didn't think he was fit enough to have a chance.
Valby in the other hand was scarcely doing any running training - 30mpw is nothing for a distance runner - and was chiefly relying on arc training and yet was setting records. For so many of you who claim to follow the sport you haven't a clue. But your main intention is to avoid what stares you in the face. Excuse after excuse.
The only time you would have ever been in a courtroom is facing charges. You are simply another witless clod here. There are quite a few of you.

Well, those who presume to lecture me about law when they have no qualifications in that discipline are. Add to them those who simply flannel on as you do.
So you think you're an expert in psychology too? Talk about amusing! Pal, if you weren't so busy admiring your own words on a screen, you'd be able to see these topics clearly.
You're lucky there isn't a stupidity clause in the message board guidelines. If this site had such a clause, you'd be banned for posting utter nonsense. You should change your handle to drivel livs.
