Camille is going to get filthy rich(er) off this suit. I have been the plaintiff in several different suits. I won a very massive one just a couple years ago against the Gaylord Family of Hotels after they let a stranger in off the street at a private event i was attending with my grad school. He came to me and ridiculed my redskins shirt, then spit on me and started hitting me when I tried to find security. I win 8 figures in that personal injury lawsuit.
I am afraid some of you are misunderstanding the point of Camilles legal claim.
The point of her claim is that an employee in Canada intentionally and unjustifiably trieds to sabotage her running career by getting others to drop her sponsorship. Autism has nothing to do with anything if it. She doesn't need to show she did or didnt do anything wrong. She just hads to show Amy bearfoot had malicious intent to hurt her financially. Thats all. What camille did or didnt do on Wikipedia is also irrelevant. All that is relevant is that Amy Bearfoot acted in an intentional michevous manner with intent to harm, and not in a professional journalism capacity.
Now, as far as why she makes autism her entire platform, im not really sure why Camille does that. I have been in special education classes my ENTIRE LIFE for autism except for math and science where my scores are completely off the charts and the highest recorded scores in all of oklahoma history. I won the state and national science fair 4x, then went all the way to Kobe Japan and got 2nd at the world science fair with my experiment of lighting charcoal under glass beakers to prove which charcoal is the cleanest. That also got me a FULL RIDE to a d1 school.
Im not Camilles doctor. But I know autism isn't diagnosed at age 40. Its diagnosed at birth and no later than age 2. Why she had an epiphany later in life and is grasping it as some sort of public pride, that I can't quite figure out.
