This website is totally broken. In this thread they are literally proposing mandatory cheek swabs for every middle school girl in America to play sports or use a restroom, to confirm XX purity rather than going on the gender as declared by the child and their parent (which has worked well for decades).

Since this thread is about something that happened at an Oregon high school state championship meet, I think it's worth noting that by Oregon state law, public school students in grades 7-12 who do competitive interscholastic sports have to get a physical exam by a licensed HCP at least once every two years.
ORS 336.479 Section 1 (3) "A school district shall require students who continue to participate in extracurricular sports in grades 7 through 12 to have a physical examination once every two years."
To be in compliance with this Oregon state law, each student has to submit to their school two standardized forms that have been filled out and signed by the student, the student parent/guardian, and the licensed HCP who does the physical exam.
The forms are easy to find on the websites of the Oregon state government and the Oregon Schools Activities Association:
As you can see, the Oregon forms require that the student’s sex be clearly stated and attested to by the student, the parent/guardian and the HCP. But there's no place on the forms where anyone is asked to state or declare the student's gender. There's no mention of gender or gender identity at all.
Both pages start out with these fields to be filled in.

What’s more, the History Form that the student-athlete and/or parent/guardian have to fill out asks several questions about the student’s health that are related to his/her sex:

The History form ends with a place where both the student-athlete and a parent or guardian have to sign. Above the signature line, there's a line of text that says:
I hereby state that, to the best of my knowledge, my answers to the above questions are complete and correct.
