She thinks Armstronglivs is so bad that she can do any thing against him without limitations. So she has no empathy. -A very dangerous and sad attitude to have if you ask me. But luckily Armstronglivs tackles this supremely, and doesn’t even bother to go after her, and gives content to the famous Nietzsche quote: “What doesn’t kill you strengthens you”.

With his average 800m potential, it is complerely obvious that the 1500m can't be his best event. He is still already an all-time great at the distance and the best in the last four years. But he is far from "unbeatable" over 1500m.
For sure he is much stronger over the 3000m and most likely he is even bettervover the 5000m. We have to wait what he can do here in a well paced effort for a fast time.
I agree that the 1500 isn't his best event. I differ when you describe him as one of the "all-time greats" over the distance. No world records at the distance and nearly 4 years of defeats on the biggest occasions. That isnt one of the "all-time greats".

Why on earth this huge focus on the negativity here? Armstronglivs’ bold predictions about Jakob losing and never being able to true greatness give, IMO, a interesting layer to the whole thing -in addition to watch Jakob succeed I will then also get to watch Armstronglivs eat crow. Hilarious!

The h2h is irrelevant; any one of those guys and sometimes several of them are beating Ingebrigtsen in global 1500 finals. He hasn't won one since 2021. It's now 2025.
Only Kerr has beaten him in 1500m finals. The last time they raced, Ingebrigtsen won. Let's see if Kerr can win another race against Ingebrigtsen. Or if there even will be another duel between them.
Kerr wants to become the best Miler of his generation. Very difficult without racing. The others are much younger and Ingebrigtsen is also clearly faster. Interesting season to come.
Only Kerr has beaten him in 1500 finals? You did watch Paris? Hocker (who won) and Nuguse - both ahead of Ingebrigtsen in the Olympic 1500 final (as well as Kerr).
Kerr also has had 3 straight victories over Ingebrigtsen in the last 2 years - including at 2 global championships. That looks increasingly like ownership. He isn't the only one now.

I totally agree that having people with differing views is great for the discussion.
The problem is not his opinion. It's the way he expresses it; he is always the negative one, always focusing on what Jakob can't do, and he is always starting arguments and insulting others. I have never tried to turn him into a supporter of my opinions. I just find his behaviour obnoxious. Even more so when he insulted my teenage daughter. He has stated that he only comes to Letsrun to rile other people up. If you think that's a good thing...
