I find it interesting that that happened in May and he conveniently “mutually parted ways with ASICS” in June. This now seems like asics knew about the incident and dropped him immediately. This wasn’t a dispute over spikes.

The incident in May has already been proven to be a false accusation. If there were any merit to it Kerley would have been taken into custody and charged. Kerley also has the right to defend himself. The stupid cops started the incident by shoving and grabbing him. If the redneck Miami justice systems does not drop the felony "battery" charge Fred needs to keep appealing all the way to the US Supreme Court if necessary.

A new felony charge is not going to help his cause. His only hope to avoid jail now is to be found not guilty or plead to a lesser charge. Oof

And what business did he have in the vicinity? He parked his car in an area that became restricted by police and he tried going in there. If they said it's restricted his drunk butt should have used Uber to get home and returned in the morning when the area was not longer restricted!

They are 2 separate charges. He is alleged to have bettered a police officer (pushing an officer would qualify) and then when they tried to arrest him for said battery, he resisted without violence. Resisting without violence is refusing to put your hands behind your back, curing up into a ball, or doing anything to avoid being arrested while not using violence or fleeing. Fleeing is a different charge as is resisting with violence. It's not that hard people.
Kerley's girlfriend, Cleo Rahman, 32, a national DJ known as Dj Sky High Baby, also is facing a charge of resisting an officer without violence charge because "her actions took several officers to divert their attention from assisting the officers to deal with her," according to the arrest report.

That doesn't mean anything to the courts. How many NFL football players are doing time? What about Masterson he is a millionaire celebrity. The courts are sick of these guys thinking the law doesn't apply to them.
