Biden went on TV and declared that anyone responsible for as much death as Trump was from COVID should resign in disgrace. Biden then went on to kill more people than Trump did.
Idiotic Democrat lock down policies which served no purpose devastated the economy...
Obviously my question was about the elections. Blue wave came in 2018 and then washed out Donald in 2020. History will repeat itself.
The 2018 "blue wave" which resulted in the GoP gaining 2 seats in the Senate....
The 2020 "blue wave" which resulted in the GoP retaking the House.
The first presidency that led to embarrassing electoral losses in 2018 and 2020 and the worse non-incumbent showing in a midterm in decades in 2022.
And a terrible economy from COVID that Biden had to fix.
I sincerely hope Trump can do better than that. The bar is very low, lol.
The midterm elections usually go against the incumbent.
Throw in how effective the media was at manipulating stupid people and you get lots of Democrat voters.
That spell has been broken and the magic abortion pill that saved in 2022 is gone forever.
I sincerely hope you get smarter than you've been thus far.
being wrong about absolutely EVERYTHING must be devastating for someone with an ego as laughably huge as yours.
Trump had C19 hit and that really did him. Had there been no pandemic, I think he would have won again simply because the economy was doing fine.
He ran through cabinet people like water during his first go around. It was very chaotic. Hopefully this time he will let people do their jobs and stay out of the way. (I doubt he will.)
He also spent way too much time sniping with minor celebrities that would criticize him. When you are POTUS you should just ignore those little gnats. Instead he took the bait every freakin time.

Do you think there won’t be any crises in the next four years? One of the primary skills needed for President is to be able to effectively manage a crisis. Donald has already shown us he lacks that skill. He will show us again.
4 Years is a long time in politics, don't be too cocky about how easy it is to come back. 4 years ago after Jan6 pundits were saying that Republicans would be a minority party for a generation.
Records don't matter. Even if Newsom is a bad California governor, it won't matter. People vote on how someone makes them feel, and he "looks like a President," so a lot of people will vote for him. If he were that unpopular, then CA would have tossed him aside.
He looks like a sleazy used car salesman and he has a track record of failure and hypocrisy.
He's not even popular in his own state.
Plus he's a white male.
The Democrats cannot nominate a white male when they're entire platform is hating white men...
You are looking at Newsom the way a Republican would look at him. You have to set that aside and think what a Democrat sees when that guy is on TV. Remember, thousands of people voted for Harris and she's possibly the worst political candidate to ever run for the office on a major party ticket.
He is basically every thing that Harris was not. He is articulate, he is smart, he's quick on his feet. He gives off the vibe that he could handle a situation, should something serious arise. He has that amazing hair.
(He kinda reminds me of another Dem governor that ended up POTUS. Lots of the same criticisms of him too)

Very nice I see 4 excuses for Trump in one post.
You have zero faith in the man you’ve obsessed about for years.
I hope for your sake Trump has a more successful term this time. I personally will be holding him to his promise to reduce the cost of groceries. Deflation? If that’s what he says.

You do not live in reality.
There won't be a "Blue wave" in our lifetime. You don't go from 54% of Americans not being able to read above a 6th grade level to wide support for progressive policies. If dems can appeal to some of this group - as well as reluctant voters (Those who stay home unless they feel super energized) we might get a small democratic majority.
As to commenter, Donald received 74.2 million votes in 2020.
The only way there is a blue wave is if the GOP screws it all up so much that we have a 2nd great depression, and need a new "New Deal". There are a lot of safeguards in place to prevent that kind of thing - but its happened in Argentina when they decided to give a libertarian their executive. Inflation reached 236% there.

You cry yourself to sleep every night while wearing 6 masks...
Cope and seethe!
It is hilarious that the only meaning you have in your life now is desperately hoping Trump fails.
The 2018 blue wave which resulted in the Democrats gaining 41 seats in the House and 7 governors.
The 2020 blue wave which resulted in the Democrats defeating Trump, regaining control of the Senate, and retaining the House.
The Democrats have controlled the House in just 3 cycles since 1995.
The GoP has controlled the Senate for the majority of the last 30 years as well.
27 states have a GoP governor.
16 states have Democrats running the House and Senate. 23 states have Republicans running the House and Senate.
You do not live in reality.
The GoP controls the House and Senate nationally. The 2026 Senate map is bad for the Democrats and the Republicans will pick up more seats in 2026.
Maybe not after 2 years of Trump. You live in lalaland if you think his policies are going to be good for anybody but Donald J Trump and the mega rich.

What’s your definition of a wave?
2018: Democrats gained 41 seats in the House and 7 governors.
2020: Democrats defeated Trump, regained control of the Senate, and retained the House. Yes, Donald received 74.2 million votes. Biden got 7 million more.

The 2017 tax cuts were great for everyone.
Real wages were up for everyone during Trump's first term.
The idea that Trump only helps the rich is leftist propaganda.
The working class voted overwhelmingly for Trump.
Leftist snobs think they did it because they're stupid and voted against their own self interest.
In reality the leftist snobs are stupid and the working class has common sense.
PLEASE keep running on your "everyone's stupid but us" platform.

Most saw their actual income relative to inflation decrease. "But number go up. Number good."
It’s not her job and she has no power to implement anything. There are mayors, city councils, the governor and state legislatures. Do you think Pelosi governs San Francisco? Do House members from wealthy districts deserve praise?
Can AOC NOT organize efforts to clean up her district? If you are a Congressperson and your district is a sh*thole, would you not want to clean it up? I would be embarrassed to have my home district stocked with hookers, homeless and drug users. Every weekend I would organize large-scale efforts for volunteers to clean up the crap. Provide water and pizza and maybe even gift cards. Is it that hard? She can't do that? Is she impotent?
I mean our Congressman comes back to his district and attends and organizes events quite a bit. He isn't even good but he is regularly going around doing things. Visits a lot high schools, small town festivals, and small town building projects. Our district is several hundred square mile too, not a few neighborhoods in a small city.
AOC could regularly take action to rebuild and promote clean up projects in her district if she cared.

AOC lives in a tiny city. Tell me you've never been to NYC without telling me you've never been to NYC haha
Trump got a bit lucky with the economy his first term, but with the tariffs he's proposing combined with the US stepping back from its place on the world stage, its not going to be pretty. I don't think we see Argentina level numbers, but I doubt many will be happy.

He had tariffs in his first term and Biden kept them in place.
