The thing is that leaving it to her husband avoids tough questions and personal responsibility. She wiggles out with excuses about mental health (or rather her husband provides those excuses.)
Her mother, Susan Easterling Herron was all over a certain FB running page a couple of days ago, peppering it with angry face emoji's if anyone posted something negative about Camille.
She's vaguely throwing in an apology to no one or no topic in general.
The "sorry" seemed to be more sorry to the people close to her or who have stood by her/supported her that have been put in a position of having to defend her, and not sorry to the actual people she's hurt.

Which is actually nobody. Keep the dream alive though.

Well, she has Conor and her mom. So thats somebody.

Well, Conor has already stated that he’s responsible for the online editing. Which seems like absolutely nothing nefarious despite what the Chad’s here have their panties in a wad about. The other stuff can just be chalked up to being a competitor. The language, Camille used with regards to other runners isn’t really that different from what we see from say the Kerr/Jacob rivalry.
if anything, people should be up in arms at her sponsors for dropping her over this.

LOL, you are this same person with the obsession with "chad". I think you need psychiatric help as much as Camille. Or maybe you are Camille. Either way, I hope "chad" didn't hurt you, and please, seek help.

It’s easy to tell how you think. Just guess how the drama, loving Chad’s will respond. You will be in line with that - since there’s absolutely nothing authentic about you.
I recommend that people read some of the 2022 reporting on how Camille's 100-mile world record, run at the designated USATF 100-mile championships, was denied/not certified by USATF 8 months later.
Many of the non-running comments online about Camille Herron voicing concerns about whether Stine Rex used shoes with an illegal stack height and illegal pacing make it seem like these are just "technicalities."
Details aren't easy to find but it seems that Stine ran in a pair of Asics Superblast 2 that have an absolutely absurd 45mm stack height. My limited understanding is that World Athletics may ban stack h rights over 40mm. These types of shoes seem like they would give a massive advantage in multi day races. Similarly, having a pacer would give a massive advantage. I still don't think Camille and Conor acted or responded reasonably, but their criticism of Stine's record/record attempt actually seems somewhat reasonable.

The course was too short. The same thing happened to Alberto Salazar at the New York Marathon.

Geuninely not sure if there are ongoing conspiracies about switching shoes but in all of the photos and videos of Stine's performance that I can find she is wearing what look like Craft Nordlite Ultras which have a 40mm stack and are therefore legal. Apart from one clip where she appears to be running in her socks.
Yes, the course for Camille's 100 mile world record was short, hence she did not get the record.
It is not easy to find and understand relevant rules, but this 2020 Canadian Running article makes it seem like IAU (International Association of Ultrarunners) adopted the World Athletics ban on shoes with over 40mm stack height:
According to this 2024 irunfar article: "the six-day mark is considered by the IAU as a world best performance" while the "nonprofit Global Organization of Multi-Day Ultramarathoners (GOMU)"
Questions: 1) Does IAU still not allow shoes with a stack height over 40mm? 2) Was Stine Rex wearing shoes with a 45mm stack height during her six day event?
If the answer to both those questions is yes, then it seems fair for Camille and Conor to argue that the rules should be applied and Stine's mark should not be recognized by the IAU as a world best performance.
My understanding is that GOMU may have separate rules, but it would seem strange that they would not follow the same rules as IAU.

Thank you for posting this. It seems that Conor and Camille are being persecuted for holding others to the same standards they are held to.
