I presume you're referring to Jarmila Kratochvílová of the former Czechoslovakia. While she did win the 400/800 double at the 1983 world championships in Helsinki, she only set the world record for the shorter race there. Her still-unbroken world 800 meter record was set earlier that same Summer, in Munich. And despite widespread allegations due to her times and mesomorphic physique, she was never "subsequently disqualified for doping."
