Dear lord. Milesplit lost Cory Mull and Olivia Ekpone in the last month. What is going on with Milesplit???
Did they bring back Bryan Diebel and Ryan Fenton? Maybe Cory was the problem and they needed to bring back old people who know how to rebuild Flotrack and Milesplit.

Cory and Olivia used to be on OnTheLine, but OnTheLine does not exist anymore:
Probably not. Just like there is not a single one of the 'A' team girls at Air Academy that are not from Rainsberger's club. Just like all the top kids at Cheyenne Mountain and Niwot are also running with a club.
Seeing a pattern? Or were you just attempting to throw shade on Coronado as you team has to work this year..?
Cheyenne Mountain's club is just their HS team.
Coronado and Niwot each have extensive middle school programs that draw from wide areas. Many of those kids decide to follow their club teams and coaches in HS. Some of Coronado's top boys do live near Coronado. I can't speak to how many.
Most - but not all - of AA's top girls ran club in middle school. In Colorado Springs, the only club at the middle school level is Kokopelli.
^---- Yes, this is what I said: CMHS XC kids run with a club; AAHS kids run with a club; Niwot kids run with a club.
Add to that MVHS and Valor too. I here renowned club hater, Roberts, is getting into the club scene too.
Is the shade being thrown because parents are taking their kids to CHS because Rainsberger is coaching there? I would say that being the case, the Kokopelli girls going to AAHS would be going to CHS instead. How is any of this a problem? Based on the results, CHS is on a better path for XC than they were the years prior. When was the last time CHS did anything with talent they developed themselves?
There are other programs in the Springs, however, Kokopelli is the largest and best known by far. I heard that the Niwot (REAL) middle school program is no more.
Why all this irritation towards programs benefiting kids? These programs are doing great things for them. Why complain?
Great article about a great coach and truly genuine person. She’s a no nonsense coach that cares about her runners, no matter what they might be going through or how they are performing. Love to see the culture she is creating at Coronado.
Cheyenne Mountain and Niwot are way different. They both have massive teams with kids who want to be apart of it no matter their skill. (Coronado not having a full JV team shows you the difference already.) They also have coaches who want to work with the kids who are not as fast and help develop and keep them interested in the great sport of cross country even if they are not running varsity times.
Coronado is not like that. They (she) recruits and brings in the fastest kids from the club no matter where they live to run, so they can look great on paper for those couple of years. If you aren't apart of that group you are an outsider on the team...
Cross Country in high school is about way more then just winning. The kids that need it most are not the ones who are running 15 minute 5ks. CM and Niwot while they do bring in some from other places they still have big competitive teams because they are doing it right.
Just think about this when you try to prop up Coronado
