Refusing to allow a change of venue is the fault of the Democratic and it's donors. The judge in the case who refused the change of venue request is literally a Democrat and a Biden donor.
Can you name any of the "thousands of cases" which turned expired local misdemeanors into felonies?
Election interference is alleged because there's evidence that the prosecutors in all of the cases have met with or were a part of the Biden administration and all timed their filings for maximum impact on the 2024 election.
The GoP wants equal application of the law. The Democrats want power and will do absolutely anything to get it and anything to keep it.
I don't think that the change of venue request was compelling. At the same time that they made the request the Trump team was bragging about how much NYC loved DJT -- a theme they kept hammering up to and after the verdict. The defendant doesn't get to forum shop. If you don't want to risk trial in Manhattan, don't commit the crime in Manhattan.
As for the timing of the various cases, it takes a lot of time to build a white collar case. And many of the delays in the various cases are delays orchestrated by the defense. Jack Smith has tried to get his cases moving much faster than they have moved, and the defense has delayed (with the great assistance of the judge in Florida). The Florida case was filed as late as it was because the government tried to work with Trump for over a year to get voluntary compliance. He got considerable time and deference that neither you nor I would have enjoyed if we had left government with those documents. We would have received a perp walk and jail clothing until trial.
I know the number of cases. And I know that NY courts have ruled that crimes committed under the laws of other jurisdictions can be crimes eligible for upgrade to a felony. Unless someone pays my hourly rate, I have zero interest in researching what number of those cases involved "expired" crimes (I assume you mean crimes for which the statute of limitations has run).
Prosecutors switch jobs. This isn't new thing. As for state and federal prosecutors talking, that happens in lots of cases. Unless and until we know what they were talking about there is no evidence of election interference. The NY attorneys may have been asking if the Feds had any interest in pursuing the federal campaign claims that Trump had his DOJ drop (clearly they either had no interests or believed the statute of limitations had run). They may have been asking for evidence collected by the DOJ regarding the campaign investigation. That would be a normal request without regard to the upcoming election. It is unlikely that the DOJ would have been so careless as to say "please prosecute Trump". It is more likely that the DOJ would have been afraid that the prosecution would faith and that in might may Trump seem more bullet proof to the juries in the federal trials. Prosecutors are very tribal that way.
If the GOP wants equal application of the law, why do so many of their arguments build on the fact that he is special because he is running for office (and/or a former president)?

So you really believe Trump is innocent? Or is that totally irrelevant to you?
You believe Trump didn't have sex with stormy AND Cohen paid the 130,000 to Stormy (anyway) out of the goodness of his heart and without even Trump knowing?
You cult members are very funny.
You think he's "guilty" but you have no idea what the crime is.
You think a lawyer took out a HELOC on his own home to pay a billionaire's bills for him and you think I'm the one thinking like a cult member. LOL!
"a billionaire"... Trump is a con man who never pays so I would absolutely believe he would let someone else pay his bills. He USES HIS CAMPAIGN MONEY to fund his legal defense. Just open your eyes, dolt.

No one cares what you think.
Using simple logic a political trial in a district that voted 95% against the man being prosecuted isn't going to be fair.
In the United States defendants are entitled to an impartial jury. If you don't like the 6th Amendment move to a different country.
Only cultist fools and corrupt judges think Donald Trump had any hope of getting an impartial jury in Manhattan.
The timing issues are obvious. The prosecutors timed the trials to all finish during the 2024 election campaign but they weren't clever enough to predict the stall tactics that would be used by the defense.
The #3 guy at the DoJ doesn't take a pay cut to be a local prosecutor. Just stop with the lying...

You should follow your own advice.
Open your eyes. Even if 100% of the things you've been told Trump did by your cult the Democrats are still a worse option for the country.

moving goalposts is sure sign your points have failed. Thanks for the confirmation. Go to bed son

Your argument about venue assumes that every single juror will vote his or her politics and ignore the law and evidence. All Hunter needed was one of the Democrats likely to be on the jury to say 'not beyond a reasonable doubt'. All Trump needed was one juror who looked at the evidence and said 'not beyond a reasonable doubt'. The Sixth Amendment doesn't promise a politically balanced jury. I don't need to move to another country because, unlike you, I have you faith in the jury system.
Perhaps you should question the case put on by Trump's attorneys. I doubt you will, but perhaps you should question Trump's conduct getting in this mess. He made multiple bad decisions and broke the law.
If the documents case was designed for election interference the Biden administration wouldn't have wasted a year negotiating with Trump. They would have charged him and he'd be convicted of a federal crime by now. In any case, it is pretty weak sauce to blame the government for the timing of enforcing the law without addressing the illegal conduct of the defendant. He could have not taken the documents. He could have invited the FBI to come in and take the documents. He could have filed a declaratory judgement (and have his head handed to him on his silly claim about the Presidential Records Act). And he could have avoided moving the documents around to prevent discovery and then admitting to doing it in an interview with Hannity. Running for office doesn't give you a free pass for crimes.
I don't know the current or past salary of the referenced prosecutor. But I know plenty of lawyers who have taken roles for less pay than they were getting. Sometimes it is for geographic preference, but often it is because the new gig is temporary and give the chance to hit a high profile home run that will enhance his or her career. I have made strategic decisions like that in my career. That doesn't make this prosecutor's move election interference. That attorney didn't decide whether to prosecute, Bragg did. Did the prosecutor want to get Trump? Don't gaslight us -- the prosecutors always want to get a guilty verdict. That's their job.
So you really believe Trump is innocent? Or is that totally irrelevant to you?

Trump lied and falsified records to decieve the electorate so they wouldn't find out who he really was.
The conman still has you totally conned.
Who had sex with Stormy and who paid her 130,000 to shut her up about it?
Also Trump's crimes are numerous. You sir are being made a fool by Trump.
If you don't know the law - just don't say anything. He is not a felon.
Explain how he's not a felon. You made the claim, now back it up.
Convicted on 34 felony counts.
Don't just talk out of your ass. Enlighten everyone.
Sally Vix is arguing on a technicality to goad you all into a back and forth. At the current moment trump has been found guilty on 34 felony charges, but he does not become a convicted felon until he is sentenced.
Even if 100% of the things you've been told Trump did by your cult the Democrats are still a worse option for the country.
So, even if Trump did try to overturn an election, even if he incited an insurrection, that's not as bad as anything the "cult democrats" have done? Please explain, because what Trump has been accused of is about as far from being American as possible.
If the justice system is "rigged" against Republicans how did Hunter get convicted?
Well, the goal post being moved on this one is that Biden can now say "look, even my own son got convicted, MY DOJ is impartial thus everything I do to go after Trump is legit."
Honestly, why does he have a gun? He is surrounded by armed secret service.
Not for me to say.
Would you care to make a prediction on whether Trump will turn in his remaining gun in the next few days (to avoid a felon in possession of a gun charge) or do you think he can and will wait until July 11th?
Sally, you have been beating the drum, over and over, that Donald Trump is NOT a felon (yet).
But you seem to be dodging this straight forward question based on your position. I'll try again.
Would you care to make a prediction on whether Trump will turn in his remaining gun in the next few days (to avoid a felon in possession of a gun charge) or do you think he can and will wait until July 11th?

We should explore that.
Biden, who apparently is a doddering old man who can't string a sentence together can mastermind a scheme to...
Have a Trump-apppointed judge reject his son's the plea deal
Have Merrick Garland appoint a special prosecutor (also a Trump appointee)
Have it go to trial
Have a jury find his own son guilty in only a few hours of deliberation
AND he started all of these wheels in motion LONG before Trump was convicted on 34 counts, all so that AFTER Trump was convicted he could position himself to say that the system works because his son was convicted too
If the justice system is "rigged" against Republicans how did Hunter get convicted?
Well, the goal post being moved on this one is that Biden can now say "look, even my own son got convicted, MY DOJ is impartial thus everything I do to go after Trump is legit."
But he can't get his own son off. So how does he control the justice system?

Biden and Blinken had a misinformation letter of 51 signed to deceive the electorate about the Laptop from Hell. The signatories of which have been rewarded with hundreds of billions of taxpayer funds in the form of arms sales. At least Trump had the decency to use campaign funds. Biden also violated freedom of the press (the standard for which is matters of national security, not matters of personal embarrassment) to deceive the public about the Diary from Hell using taxpayer funds via the DOJ.
Trump paid $130k for an NDA on an allegation from a less than credible source. Businesses do this all the time when they feel it is cheaper to settle than to litigate.
If the justice system is "rigged" against Republicans how did Hunter get convicted?
