Exactly. Trump had an easy path to victory and that was to keep his defense narrow. To argue that he is a super big shot and had nothing to do with how things were documented by his accountant. All day long that should have been his defense. That was the piece of evidence that needed Cohen's narrative. And he could have introduced reasonable doubt.

You never heard of a settlement? They're very common in corporate America. And they are included in legal expenses. They are never called "hush money" in financial statements. The jury was not allowed to hear that.
Corporate settlements are included as legal expenses, a personal settlement by one of the executives to a woman to keep quiet about extramarital sex and then business records changed to cover the fact the payment was ever made is what Trump is guilty of.

Because America is extreme capitalism and everyone everything is for profit. If a criminal has promised to give us more money, we will elect him no matter his past present and future records. To dilute our moral compass, we call it American Christian way as all transgressions will be forgiven if he is one of us.

The Order to which you refer mention several legal theories, such as violation of tax laws, violation of Federal Election laws. Could I be charged with a moving violation and never find out until jury instructions whether it was speeding, failure to yield, or whatever else?
