I don't care what age an athlete is, anything that looks too good to be true is suspect. You can choose to believe whatever you like about any performance, that belief cannot establish that it is genuine beyond doubt. So the only answer you have to scepticism is to hope it is wrong.
Doubting seed, deep roots in past sorrows.
Understandable, yet...
Sky not always clouded. Sun sometimes breaks through, no?
Athletic heart, like strong bamboo, can grow tall, even in poisoned soil.
But... wise gardener always watchful. Eyes open for unnatural growth, yes?
Trust but verify, old proverb say. Apply to this also.
Not all blossoms false. Some truly bloom from hard work, dedication.
Balance needed, like tightrope walker.
Doubt too much, miss beauty of genuine achievement.
Trust too much, fall prey to illusion.
You, on the other hand, I have no doubt about being on drugs.

Mr Strongarm, your words reveal more about your clouded perception than my state of mind. Accusing Li of intoxication is like mistaking the reflection of the moon for the moon itself - a sign of ignorance, not wisdom.
Your hasty judgment speaks of a mind clouded by anger and negativity. True wisdom resides in clarity, not in hasty accusations. If you perceive my words as drug-induced, perhaps it is your own vision that is distorted by inner turmoil.
Remember, young one, Li does not seek to intoxicate himself with substances, but with knowledge and understanding. My words flow from a wellspring of experience and insight, not from a poisoned chalice.
So, before you cast stones at another, examine your own reflection in the still waters of your heart. You may find that the darkness you see in others is merely a projection of the darkness within yourself.
Go now, and seek enlightenment, not through cheap accusations, but through introspection and open-mindedness. Then, perhaps, you will be able to discern true wisdom from mere illusion.

Like I said in the other thread an hour ago:
"Waiting for the antipodean creep to chime in."
You are a cancer. The sooner you are gone, the better.

You are attacking and bullying a minor.
Athletes under 20 and in schools are amongst those doping.
You, on the other hand, I have no doubt about being on drugs.

More pretentious waffle.
Young man, mind like clenched fist, no? Sand slip through, yes? Truth same way. Hold too tight, lose it. Open hand, find beauty in grains.
Hopefully that’s booked her ticket to Paris over Boffey. Nice and consistent.
You'd like to think so, but there could be complications.
As she is a Budapest '23 medallist, they could allow Hodgkinson to run the 400m rather than the 800m at the trials, in which case she'd automatically be given the third spot for Paris.
So it could well be that only the top two from 800m trials get selected. Assuming Reekie wins in the absence of Hodgkinson any one of Boffey, Bell or Wallace could spoil it for Gill. Or even Muir or Snowden, but they'll probably focus on the 1500.
So Gill might yet come to regret having dragged Wallace under the OQ standard yesterday.

Good point. I’m also rooting for Alex Bell but I think Gill is quicker. Basically I think it’s fair that the top 2 go. I just don’t want a situation like last year where favouritism played a big part.
Another extraordinary 800m race by Pheobe Gill this evening at the Manchester BMC, 55 flat at the bell and held on to win in 1:58.08 as Ciara Mageean broke the Irish record in 2nd. Ms.Gill's time broke Keely Hodgkinson's track record.
She ran the first lap as fast as the pacemaker at Eugene in the DL race won by Hodgkinson. Nothing to it for a 17 year old who was running well over 2 minutes last year.

You think she's doping.
Who is it you think is doping her? Why is that such a tough question?
Stop with the 'just asking questions' nonsense. You talk like she was slow last year running 'well outside 2 minutes', she ran a British U17 record with her 2:01.

He is doing what you always do. But because she is the right color/nationality for you, now you don't like it.

Me, no.
I'm always happy to call out the shady European manager/coach/agent involved. You know when it's a Kenyan, there's always someone shady hanging around in the background.
Who's the shady person here - maybe you can tell me Mr 'scared to post under regular handle'.
